I am not a gun person. I will probably never be a gun person. I'm not necessarily opposed to them,…read morejust totally disinterested. The likelihood of me ever owning a gun is pretty slim, and the likelihood of me ever carrying concealed is even more slim. However my almost husband is a gun person, and as a result, I now live with guns. Since I'm going to be living with guns, I decided that I should at least know how to use them somewhat competently. So I signed up. I took their women's seminar which was a combination of the NRA Basic Pistol course and the Illinois conceal carry course. The class was taught by Christa, and she addressed some issues specific to women. Both Mikes were also present to help with some demo and hands on stuff. The class was a nice mix of lecture, discussion and hands on. We got to handle dummy ammunition, a variety guns, and holsters in class. We learned grip and stance in the classroom before we ever got to the range. After the classroom sessions alone, I felt confident that I could competently handle any of the guns in my house. We haven't done the range time yet, but they rent private space at Article II in Lombard which allows for more personal instruction. The staff is extremely friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I don't think the was a single question asked they couldn't answer. The classroom space is also really nice and very professional. The classes are held in an actual office space, rather than someone's house. All in all, I would highly recommend Proton Training for anyone looking for a conceal carry course or basic firearms courses. You won't be disappointed!

I took the Phlem course in the summer of 2021 and I must say my experience was horrible as well as…read morethe other 6 people in my class was! Tamika was never on time, we had actually face to face class whenever she wanted to, her bad ass son was always screaming, crying and getting into everything, he smelled like shit majority of the time because he needed his diaper changed, she use to say she was going to pick her kids up in the middle of class and she'd come back so late that class was actually over and we'd have to call her and let her know we were leaving, she barely taught face to face, every thing was a fucking recorded lecture, she took forever to post our finally grade so we didn't know if we passed the class til 2 weeks after the course was over. The only reason I passed the course was because I've had previous Medical schooling. I'm a Medical assistant as well as a Phlebotomist now. Dont waste your money please Find somewhere else to go. The older reviews are not a lie they're true! trust me!

Prestige Nurse Aide Academy will definitely prepare you for the working environment in Healthcare…read more They teach students how important it is to be tjorougj and put your patients first. You have to be willing to put in study hours, This is no joke!!! Ms. Tamika (the director) will tell you that the instructors don't have the authority to pass or Fail students, the student control that. The scantron score reflects what you bubbled in. You will not pass if you just show up. You must apply the knowledge, read, and do all homework assignments. Healthcare is No Joke. Thank you Prestige for Preparing me for my Career. I Love you guys.
