In some of the storms we had this last summer we started to notice a few spots on our roof that water was starting to come through. I was having a horrific winter. Went to knock an icicle off my eavestrough over the garage, and the entire thing pulled loose. This was extra hazardous because I only have one way up my front walk, and it is over a sloped, patterned-brick driveway. I was also fighting serious health problems, so could not get out and scrape my driveway of all the ice buildup. The eavestrough was pouring a waterfall onto the front walk, creating an icy lake on the way to the front door, and it was also creating a river of ice down one side of my driveway. I had hoped I'd be able to make it to spring to replace ALL the eavestroughs, but I finally broke down and called Rapid Roofing, based on their good reviews here. Trevor was able to come out super quick, did a look see around the entire property, and told me the rest of the troughs looked good. I only had a downspout in the backyard that needed to be angled a bit more, in addition to my nightmare out front. He had that sucker replaced lickety-split, and didn't even charge me for the quickie fix in the back. Everyone I spoke to was so incredibly kind in respect to my illness and how important the repair was to them to make my place safer. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. After having contacted six different roofing companies, having three confirm they would provide a quote, and having two actually climb up on my roof, this was the only such company to provide a quote this summer when we needed eavestrough repair and other small roof maintenance tasks completed. Understandably some of the other companies were too busy or didn't do this kind of roof maintenance, but it was a real struggle finding companies willing to consider the job that we required, which really was of the maintenance variety rather than of the roof replacement variety. But boy was this quote comprehensive and the service was excellent. I loved that video was provided with the quote alongside photos and that photos were provided to prove what was completed on our roof when the invoice was sent. We are really quite pleased. We'll definitely consider Rapid Roofing and Repairs for future roofing jobs that we require. read more

We had multiple quotes and Adam's professionalism was Above the rest. Personable, helpful, and patient. We were sooo impressed, that my other 2 neighbours went with Rapid Also at the same time. We had additional questions about leaks, NOT shingle related but he took the time to do a "on-roof" video inspection of the roof, and even advised us on our extra roof issues. ( we both agreed these were "unofficial" comments but soooo helpful. ) The crew Allan, Tannin, Cory and Darren, were excellent. My review of Rapid Roofing has changed over the past three years. 3 years ago they came out and replaced a portion of my roof. I had a pleasant enough experience with them and had no cause for concern, at this point, they would have received a 5-star review. However, this past fall the repair failed and I had a major leak in my home. When I contacted them they did come out and look at it and said they don't warranty repairs so they wouldn't fix their work. At the time I had a broken arm and torn knee and couldn't get onto my roof to take a look at it but I had a knowledgeable friend take a look and he recommended I call other roofers. I had three other roofers out to look at it and they all separately said to me that the shingles that were used were not new they probably came from another job site. I was charged on my invoice for new shingles by Rapid Roofing. Overall, I wish they would have stood by their work and obviously, they should have new shingles as they charged me for. In good conscious I cannot recommend Rapid Roofing. read more

Rapid Roofing did an awesome job on our house. We did a re-roof of the house as well as the garage, and we also had all new soffits, fascia and eaves put in. They were very quick with the job, very professional and did a fantastic job. They used a magnet to clean any debris/nails left around the whole house, so it was spotless after they finished the job. The guys who did the fascia/soffits/eaves worked with us to figure out a plan to create the best drainage possible before they went ahead with installing with everything, and double-checked with us when completed to make sure we were happy with their work. You could get someone cheaper than Rapid Roofing, but their service, quality of shingles, 10 year workmanship warranty and 25-year roof warranty were well worth the cost. Dan Cote, the president of Rapid Roofing, was very helpful throughout the entire process, and Joe came to our house and spent a good hour with us discussing roofing options, cost and detailed plan. Both Joe and Dan were very personable, friendly and we got a great vibe from them - they were honest, knew exactly what they were talking about and were very reliable. I asked for references from three other roofing companies that were recommended in Edmonton, and the only company to provide references was Rapid Roofing. All of their references were fantastic and the past customers I spoke to, spoke very highly of Rapid Roofing's workmanship, and even gave me their addresses, so I could swing by and see the great work they did. I would highly recommend going with Rapid Roofing if you're deciding to redo your roof, fascia, soffits, etc. We had a great experience and are happy to have done business with them! read more

After an exhaustive and careful processes and quite a few quotes we selected Rapid Roofing & Repair to take care of our roof replacement. They were not the cheapest quote received; however, their friendliness, professionalism, and ten year workmanship warranty made our decision pretty easy. We are very pleased that we chose Rapid Roofing & Repair and strongly recommend them. We have an older house and a detached garage and trust me when I say the job wasn't an easy one. A few roofers that came out to see it wouldn't even provide a quote given the challenge it presented (lots of peaks and valleys, 2.5 stories, close to our neighbors, etc.) and the roof itself was in pretty bad shape. One lower quote that we got at the Edmonton Home Show doubled when their site manager showed up to verify the quote. We were very impressed with the entire RR&R team (Catherine, Dan, Darren, and Richard) and we were very pleased with the end result. I especially found the guys (Richard and his team) who actually did the work very friendly and hard working. They started early and worked late to get everything done and they made sure that our grounds (and the neighbors) weren't full of any debris. We had a leaky skylight in late fall and they were able to fit us in and fix that portion of the roof. Then we had them back in spring to do the rest of the roof. They contacted us in early spring to let us know the timeline. The crew were all super - I with from home so I was around to see them and speak to them. I am a Project Manager for a large consulting firm in Edmonton dealing with all types of construction and contractors from small contracts to large multi million dollar contracts. I retained Rapid Roofing to replace my existing roof because of the quality and professional way that Dan responded to my request for quotations and the availability to do the work, even thorough the final cost was slightly higher (approx 8%) than another firm offering very similar services. Dan, Patricia and the crew did an amazing job responding expeditiously, professionally and with pride in everything they did and did it when they said they would do it. On the day crew arrived they were fast and proficient a 1600 sqft roof stripped to the wood, and re roofed c/w new vents (upgraded to code) all with in a 4 hour window. Great job in the clean up as well not only including my yard but the neighbors as well. Pride in the work and extreme care was taken to protect my existing landscaping and building structures and finishes... they even cleaned out my eaves trough... well done!! Last year we had my mothers home up for sale and during this time we had noticed a leak from the roof, I called Rapid Roofing (check on the BBB) and I couldn't believe there service. Dan and Joe understood how important it was to get the roof done ASAP and they went over and above to accommodate my requests. When they remove the shingles they found damage and supplied us with photos showing the problems. They repaired and re-shingled the roof and it looks amazing. We have just hired them to re-shingle our house and Dan came over and explained the options clearly so we could make an informed decision on what product we prefer. After getting several quotes i found their price to be very low considering the high quality shingles they use Then I find out they have a 10 YEAR WORKMANSHIP WARRANTY! All the other's only had a max of 5 years. They also have a 25 year roof warranty! The customer service was great!
