Is this like an urgent care for anyone like a walk-in clinic? Like a real walking clinic like they have access to testing, etc. and writing prescriptions?

This is a hybrid primary care, Tele visit practice. Yes we can do testing CT scans if need be primarily go through insurance and we have board-certified physicians and behavioral health providers on staff.

Does it make sense for a doctor to prescribe a medication that no single pharmacy in the entire…read moretown has? And when you call back to get any sort of help, you get screamed at by the oncall doctor who is unhelpful, and does not understand empathy or pain of patients who have to do so much to advocate for themselves over and over again to get access to SINGLE MEDICATION? I came at 1:45pm to be seen. After 5pm, the prescription finally gets sent out. When it gets sent out, I'm on the phone with over 5+ pharmacies, over and over again who all say they dont have the medication, but they do have the elixir form. I call the oncall doctor (who is not my doctor because I'm running out of time, and pharmacies will close) to see she can send the elixir form and she starts screaming at me saying I shouldn't be using the phone. Rupa Reddy, you're a sick awful severely deranged person. I have had a severe mouth sores for over a week hoping they can help, and now the day is over, everyone left, and I did not receive my medication, and I'm in severe pain. Thats just how awful this office is, they don't give a shit about their patients.

My husband and I recently moved to the area and needed a new primary care physician. I researched…read morethe area and saw Chelmsford Primary Care had great reviews, and that Dr. Sun was accepting new patients. My husband and I got our appointments within 2 weeks of contacting the practice and they were one right after another which made it so easy for us. When we arrived, the women at the front desk were SO kind and helpful, and they truly made us feel at home right away. The medical assistant (she had pink hair) was so friendly and very good at her job. Dr. Sun is easily the best PCP I've ever had, and I knew that right off the bat. Not only is she incredibly warm and kind, but she is thorough, upbeat, understanding and truly listens when you bring up a concern. She made me feel comfortable within seconds of meeting her and I could tell she not only cares deeply about her patients, but she is an excellent doctor. My husband had an equally positive experience with her. We are very happy to have found Chelmsford Primary Care and Dr. Sun, and we hope to be patients here for many years to come.

Reading these were a wow factor ~not dismissing anyone else's experience but it did make me realize…read morehow we mostly remember to "yelp" when we're upset rather than pleased or grateful. So I'd like to do that now. I've been with Chelmsford Family for 20+ yrs & are very happy with them & have not had any issues so severe. It's always clean. Every single nurse (esp Sue!) have ALWAYS been helpful, thorough and empathetic to every sick visit (my family of 5 all go here ) over the yrs. I started with Dr Byrne for my first born and Dr Scott stepped In for him when he retired. Altho he was an adequate Dr (this was a joke between my husband and I lol, cuz he was fine but not thorough ) I find Dr. Scott much more competent, thorough and just easier to talk to. And she's great with my kids which to me - is everything. Dr Nguyen is my boys' Dr and he's great with them too! Now the front desk can be curt but I will say they always call me back. They always keep me in the loop when I need something and they've never been rude to me, but I can see how they would have bad busy days sometimes ... trying to take care of so many different issues for everybody. It must be tolling. So in summation, this practice is pretty great. I would and do recommend them to my friends and family.

I would rather take my chances as Kristi Noem's puppy than ever allow Kathryn Maier to be in charge…read moreof my care. :~) Just because you CAN become a doctor doesn't mean you SHOULD. I've never met a healthcare professional with such an abhorrent bedside manner, I would recommend that she work behind a desk all day instead of with patients, but that doesn't seem fair to subject the computer to. She speaks to patients with disgust, disdain, presumption, condescension, and blatant animosity. The way she practices can only be described as lazy, spiteful, and petty; it is clear when you meet with her that she has no intention of helping you get better, her superiority complex prevents her from acting with the patients' best interests in mind, and instead she tosses out diagnoses to make her job easy. Any attempts to advocate for yourself are mocked and ignored, and the clinical notes are written with the intention of making her patients appear like stupid hypochrondriacs for daring to speak up. Lucky for her patients though, she very rarely actually documents the care she provides, and only seems to upload notes when she sees fit. The three notes that she DID write while I was under her care were: 1. Written "with the help" of AI, 2. Had many typos, and 3. Clearly took inspiration from Regina George in Mean Girls when writing the Burn Book. I came to this practice for years seeking help, but they refused to provide me with the care that I needed because they found it easier to blame all everything on me and accuse me of making myself sick. Turns out that it wasn't "anxiety" -- it was a tumor! :-) If you need a new PCP, you're genuinely better off relying on WebMD or asking someone who watches Grey's Anatomy for advice.
