Very satisfied with the results of having the Rapido staff treat our new vehicle with the Opti-Coat Pro +. A worthy investment to prolong the paint look quality of the car. If we purchase another new vehicle within the time of living in the region we will do this again. Ray and his staff are very helpful and do a fantastic job with their services and the same holds with their customer dialog. It's certainly not easy to decide upon purchase options this high in cost but we have no regrets. Quality service takes time so patience is required. Yet very well worth it in the end. Thank you Ray. MY EXPERIENCE - WOULD NOT REFER TO FRIENDS/FAMILY June 18th: Picked up my new BMW 430i July 3rd: Tint and Opti-Coat Ceramic Sealant appointment with Ray @ Rapido. July 8th: Picked up car. Opti-Coat looks great. Tint not fully sealed, especially around dotted bubbles/frits. Ray advised to give it about a week or two, the sun will help tint stick to window. July 9-14th: A few air bubbles in main window, but large air pockets around dotted bubbles/frits. July 16th: Took in to Ray. Voiced my displeasure with the tint and seriously thinking about having it removed and being refunded. He said, "whatever you decide is what I'll do." Also, pointed out the window moldings/gummies around tinted windows were drying out and graying due to whatever chemical. He said he would try to use opti-coat polish to fix it. I have an Opti-Coat car wash training on July 27th, so I would give the tint until then. he said that would be fine. July 27th: while washing car I noticed a vertical cut, about 3 inches long, on both small rear windows. Pointed them out to Ray. He acted like he didn't know where they came from. I told him they came from him or one of his guys taking a short cut when measuring/cutting my tint. Instead of opening the rear door and cutting in the open space, the person just used my window as the cutting board. I was fuming. Ray said he would try to polish/buff it out. July 30th: Feeling Anger. I went to Rapido and informed Ray I decided to have the tint removed and be refunded. Scheduled for July 31st. He confirmed he would remove tint, fix moldings/gummies, and fix glass. July 31st: Dropped car off. Didn't hear from Ray until 5:55pm after I texted him for an update. He confirmed tint had been removed, moldings were in mint condition, however he needed another day for cuts. Aug 1st: Received call from his wife (Hertz Manager or Owner) that Ray decided to take car to the BMW Service Dept and have them fix/replace the small rear windows. Needed another day or so to get the car back and opti-coat the windows. Aug 2nd: Received call from one of the ladies that car would be ready next morning at 8am. Aug 3rd: Went in to pick up car and get my 200 euros refund. Was told, by his wife, that since no tint is 100% they would not be refunding me. I looked at my car and the moldings/gummies are not in mint condition. Whatever polish Ray used was already drying and showing the gray again and they are still rough when they should feel smooth. The cut in the rear windows are gone and the lady said the windows were replaced. And the tint was removed. Opti-Coat looks great, but the tint was not even 75% acceptable. Why was his garage emptied out? No supplies or equipment anymore. Just my car and another car. I immediately texted Ray that his wife (why is she speaking for him) was refusing to refund me after he agreed. I have not heard back from Ray. The professional who referred me to Ray tried reaching out to him too and she hasn't heard back from him. DO NOT GO TO RAPIDO for TINTING. BMW in Weiden does them read more

If you are looking for a PCS clean on your vehicle DO NOT use Rapido in Graf! They run an incredibly shady business. We choose them after a few people had told us they 'heard' they were good, so we scheduled our car to be cleaned two days before we shipped out. I had been given a price quote at the time of scheduling and asked again at drop off how much it would cost and they confirmed the price again. Since they don't accept credit cards I had to pull out cash for the service. When we returned later that evening to pick up the vehicle, with our cash in hand, they 'magically' came up with nearly 100 extra euro in charges. When we asked them what these charges were for they couldn't give us an answer and simply told us to look over the car and "you will see it's showroom quality". There were no written documentation of services provided to us nor could they explain what they had actually cleaned to accumulate those extra 100 euro in charges. We requested to speak with the owner and instead he sent his wife to deal with us, and all she could do was threaten to call the Military Police if we didn't pay, still not able to give us any detail as to what was done to our vehicle to accrue such charges. Since we were on a time crunch, didn't want any trouble, wanted to never deal with these horrible people again, we took out the extra money, paid and left. The next morning we inspected our vehicle and were incredibly frustrated at the "supreme showroom quality" that they so valiantly projected they had done to our car. The inside of the windows had not been cleaned, they didn't bother to remove the sticker gunk left behind by a vignette on our windshield, there were makeup fingerprints left on the visors, the review mirror hadn't been cleaned as well, and the best part was that they had broken the knob that engages the gear shifter (a $178 part on our vehicle to replace). The main reason we chose Rapido is because they guarantee it will pass vehicle inspection, but that was not the case for us. At this point we were so infuriated with this company we choose to finish the cleaning that our car had failed ourselves just so we could be done with it and lessen our heartache by dealing with them ever again. The owner, who is prior military, is ripping off soldiers and their families during an already stressful time during a PCS. It's not okay for a business to come up with and then charge you extra for services without those being talked about upfront or confirmed by the customer! You don't take advantage of people like that and you don't run a business that way! Please learn from our unfortunate experience with these guys, don't use them for your PCS move and save yourself the heartache. Take your business elsewhere. read more
