At times older kids playing basketball at the other end does get rowdy and loud, but it doesn't last too long. As a visitor to the city, finding parking on a weekday afternoon was near impossible, until it became possible after what felt like 25 minutes of searching for a spot. The park is truly sprawling and there are many places to explore, including pavilions, bridges, falls, a pond, a creek, and endless paved trails. We also couldn't help but notice that the park overall may not have been maintained consistently, based on the extensive weeds in fountains, for instance. We saw at least two cafes that had pastries, sandwiches, and beverages on their menu that looked good enough to make us think we'd definitely go there if we lived locally. All in all, I'm grateful for this space being available for locals and visitors to enjoy, and hope it is maintained and stays open for many more years.

However, now they've decided to take away all late basketball open court hours and give it to basketball academy and adult pickleball. They only have late open court hours on Thursday night from 7 to 10PM which causes a large influx of people on one night and it's impossible to do anything. For comparison, late open courts hours used to be 3 to 4 times a week from 7 to 9PM. The gym also gets very crowded due to their limited machines and gear. They're pushing for more and more kid related activities and leave out young adults and adults. I would suggest signing up for the YMCA or another gym that's geared toward adults if you're not a parent.

Then I took out my phone and thought, why don't I take pictures of the park in different areas. It's a great park that has been diversify for so long and was created in 1891. Each area of the park fits together like a jigsaw puzzles. The park was very crowded today since it was a holiday. Hope you enjoyed the pictures.
