Blunt H&B is an unassuming salon tucked into a suburban shopping row, however its narrow facade…read morebetrays a long and spacious interior. The fit-out is nice, and they make good use of the space so it doesn't seem like one big boring box. I went on a Saturday afternoon, and they were going full tilt with at least four stylists occupied, and people busy everywhere. I went for a wax, and had to wait 15 minutes past my appointed time, it would have been good to be notified in advance that they were running late. The therapist was cheerful, and went about her business professionally. I was impressed with the no-nonsense approach that saw the whole thing over and done with in under 15 minutes, and with far less pain than I have experienced in the past. So at the end of the day, I was in and out and in less time (including the 15 minute wait) than I would have been if I had of went to my regular salon. The waxing room is private, and is not an afterthought dog box like other salons tend to be. The table is positioned well in the centre of the room, with easy access for the therapist from every direction. It is nicely decorated, so clearly this is a central part of their business. I think they have just gained a new customer.
