It was such a pleasure to work with this company! Luis and Alejandro installed two outlets, five recessed lights, and a motion detector light. They even figured out how to get our hot water heater working again! They answered all my questions, made any adjustments needed, and sent a painter to fix the bathroom outlet area. Raptor has done several jobs for me: install EV charging station, replace Clothes Dryer outlet, install GFI protection for Garbage Disposal and Dish Washer, plus move and replace dining room light. Always easy to work with and quality job. I especially recommend them for lighting because they are one of the few contractors who can both move/install lighting AND patch the ceiling so you can't tell it has been moved. I've used Raptor Electric and GC three times so far over the last few years - first, a few years ago to help run an electrical connection to a new HVAC minisplit, and in 2024 for a master bathroom repair and renovation, as well as an exterior window trim replacement. For anyone who has ever had a fairly involved bathroom repair and remodel, the process can have twists and turns when "surprises" are discovered from problematic prior construction. Communication and a trustworthy relationship with your contractor are critical in such situations - both towards fixing such problems, but also in helping you as the client understand the 'why', the and their costs of all options, to arrive at an amicable solution. Luis, Alejandro and the Raptor team care about keeping the customer informed, manage expectations, and produce beautiful results. For all projects small and large, Raptor's workers arrived on time, met and at times exceeded expectations, completed work within the anticipated timeline, and performed high quality work. I was also able to test their warranty from their completed work, which met my expectations towards making fixes (we had holes in our grout after curing, and Raptor scheduled a few weeks later to make the successful fix). Finally, Raptor's pricing and bids in my experience were reasonable and in line with the market, especially in the context of the tremendous inflation we have all experienced in the last few years - they need to make ends meet too and business costs have risen. You can certainly skimp by finding a cheap contractor out there but expect the unexpected. In my view, spending a little more with Raptor is worth the piece of mind (and they also carry liability insurance - for further piece of mind!). read more

I had hired a low bidder electrician from this site and had a very bad experience. Individual came to my home, removed my power center to find he had the wrong parts and the wires were too short to install new panel for a generator disconnect or transfer switch. This guy abandons project and called the police and the COA on himself. He then accused my girlfriend of assault!!.. Yes, really. Police came and cit came and were as bewildered as I. I called Luis at Raptor and he instantly got my project going with the city and and right parts needed. The next day he had the job almost complete except for the generator transfer switch and connector. Installed grounds, new meter box, 200 amp power center. Had power at 5pm on friday last week (10/27/23). Raptor Electric came through for me big time and did a great job with the installation.. I worked with Alejandro on having an inlet box and transfer switch installed in my home, so I could use a portable generator to power essentials during an outage. Extremely overpriced for their services. They also don't stand by their work. I spent over $2,000 with them on electrical work, including installing 2 new GFCI outlets outside. One of the outlets failed within months and was only used twice. They quoted me another $275 to replace the bad outlet (which only requires turning off the breaker and removing a couple screws then reattaching). When I refused the replacement service, the owner called me and tried to charge a fee just for checking the outlet (and never stated this upfront prior to the visit). I replaced the outlet myself in 10 minutes for $30. I would recommend looking elsewhere for your electrical needs. read more

When I called for a estimate, I shared what was needed for what I was told from my previous electrical company that was no longer taking new business. The gave me a quote so I'd know what to expect. The price quotes was almost 3x the price and I was told good luck finding the price I was quoted before. Very rude. *Update* Owner Luis kept repeatedly trying to call me. 3 calls back to back. After the bad experience just trying to get a quote, then to be harassed on the phone is unacceptable. Alejandro was fantastic! We had those ugly fluorescent lights in our kitchen and I've been wanting to switch them out for quite some time. However, the task seemed daunting and spending $$$ wasn't something I was excited to do. I decided to call a few places for quotes. You wouldn't believe how hard it is for someone to return a phone call. Are you kidding me? However - Raptor was different. I inquired via their website and within 30 minutes received a call back asking a few more questions about what I was looking for. They told me Alejandro would call me later that day to discuss. And guess what? He did! We discussed it, I sent him a few photos, he gave me a rough price estimate and scheduled for him to come out and look at it in person. He came the next day, provided a quote and got us scheduled for just a few days later. He installed 9 recessed can lights as well as dimmer switches in our kitchen and y'all.. it looks sooo good! I wish I would have done this a long time ago. He has another team out here today (they are in the kitchen working as I type this review). They are filling the hole(s) from those ugly fluorescent light fixtures. His team has been excellent. Very communicative, pricing is reasonable and fair. I 100% will call Alejandro and his team for any future electrical needs. And if you still needed another reason to call them today.. here ya go: While up in our attic yesterday he noticed that our AC drain pan was leaking and the unit didn't look right. They looked at the job, explained to me what my options were, and quoted a price for each. After I accepted, a time was scheduled within a week to come out and do the work. They showed up on time and did the job in one day. The final bill happened to be less than the original quote. read more

Moved into a new house 6 months ago and since then had some issue with the lights flickering and even more issues when adding led bulbs and dimmers. I called multiple very reputability companies to fix my issue over the last several months and if anything the issues got worse. I guess I should not drop the other companies names but they were all qualified master electricians from well known companies. The all charged me and did some sort of fix that never actually fixed the issues. Money down the drain. I have spend so much time and money new switches and light bulbs as that was mostly what I was told was the issue. I called Raptor by chance and they responded very quickly, I relayed my issues and told them of my frustration with other electricians. Alejandro said he can fix it, he was very confident, I was skeptical. He and his brothers showed up and got to work. First they listened to my crazy story and then He was the first electrician to go in the attic and found that someone had hooked up my pendant lights wrong crossing some wires in a very minor way. However that issue was causing the issues. They removed some lights fixtures and fixed the wiring in the house and also tested several dimmers that I had bought to see which ones would work best.
