Take it easy on the bread, regardless of how delicious the butter is. You have to remain hungry. Order the Gamba's appetizer - it is served in hot delicious garlic oil in which you can dip your bread. But again, take it easy on the bread. This is where you had to go to get a decent stick in the cologne area. They know how to make steaks here, they're thick, fresh and juicy. I really know how to prepare the meat here, better than anywhere else. Every so often I would crave a steak after eating so much chicken and pork, prepared the German way. It's a little bit on the pricey side, but it's well worth it. If you're going to get any kind of steak in Germany, make sure it's at an Argentinian restaurant. Go to where you know they know properly prepare the meat and get the right cuts as well. A lot of German steak dishes, usually consist of behind her back side of the animal. Not always the best cut of the animal.

Served very rare sizzling on a VERY hot cast iron brick...you remove the steak onto a lower part of the plate, slice and place back on the brick to cook to your liking. This quality of meat rivals or exceeds some of the best US steakhouses I've eaten in. Very open floorplan so was a bit noisy, but still an excellent experience with clients.
