He referred me to a spinal surgeon for repair. He treated my arthritis and my degenerative knee pain. He's retired now but I miss his quality as a physician everyday. Once triaged I was placed in an exam room across from the nurses station and the exam room door was left open. Dr. Hensarling arrived back from lunch and made a call while at the nurses station. The call was a telephone consult with a patient. I was able to hear every part of Dr. Hensarling's side of the conversation. I thought he would get to me net, but instead he made yet another consult cal, and another, and another... He was more than 3 hours late for my first appointment. My second appointment Dr. Hensarling asked how I was and immediately cut me off to say he heard I made a complaint about him and did I want to complain to him. I said I would and explained what he did and that I felt like he did not respect my time and I advised I could hear all the consult calls he made the first time. Dr. Hensarling advised I shouldn't have been able to hear his calls while sitting ing an exam room. I advised the door was open. He then advised he doesn't except our insurance and the dr advised he didn't think we could fix our problem we had with him because he is old school and he hasn't received a pay check in over 2 years. He then made statements about my Med grant from xeljans that came across as a threat to get the grant revoked. I have NEVER experienced a more rude, condescending and intimidating Dr.

She impressed me so much, that even after only one visit, I've already started recommending her to friends and family members who are here in MIssissippi. She's young, cute as a bug, sweet, kind, and most of all, genuinely caring and concerned. I could tell she wanted to make sure I received the best treatment possible. I was having trouble with my prescription insurance needing preauths and she called me personally 3 times to try and work out the details to get me my needed medication. Called me personally. It would have been so easy for her to have a medical assistant or a receptionist call, but she took time out of her busy schedule to call herself. I felt so confident in all her recommendations and in placing my health needs in her care. WONDERFUL! She is a nurse practitioner and works in an office with 2 other doctors. I've always been leary about nurse practitioners, but not with her. If I were to be living here permanently in Mississippi, I would much rather see her over any other doctor. Also, since I do visit Mississippi on a regular basis, if I'm ever in need of medical care when I'm in the area, I'll be making an appointment with her for sure!
