This is a private owned castle built hundreds of years ago and they open the courtyard once a year in September for a flea market. I went with my aunt and uncle and was introduced to several of the vendors there as they were acquaintances already from previous years. The grounds and outbuilding are very well kept in the front area. the rear area appears to be under repairs. The courtyard ground was of old cobblestones in good condition and there was plenty of space for dozens of vendors of housewares, collectables, clothes and tools. One vendor was selling Schnapps and juices. Only one stall offered coffee and cakes and they were always busy. read more
