All I heard in ER was employees from Drs down talking about THEMselves, their upcoming trips, mutually hated nurses, cliques, hating Okeechobee, and taking time out to deal with a patient before getting back to conversation. 1just talked about her Rabbit while telling a man he was about to die without pacemaker!! I've brought my Mother in law here twice in the last week to the Emergency Room. The staff is absolutely amazing! The care they gave her was outstanding. I'm am sold on this facility and their team. I've been there for various tests, and I spent 3 days as an inpatient for surgery procedure using Robotic-Assisted Surgery with da Vinci System. What a game changer when it comes to recovery time. I was treated very well by everyone I came in contact with. read more

My father was having an heart attack while being there and the dr in the ER said he was fine he has an infection where he had surgeries at a few months prior well he went to a different hospital and he does not have any kind of infection but he did have a heat attack but Raulerson said his heart was fine, he went in with chest pains... A few months before this I took my daughter there because she wouldn't stop coughing and had a fever of 103 and she's 3 years old, told them she has severe asthma. They did a Covid test on our SV test and a flu test and they all came back negative. They prescribe her medications for her asthma went and picked up the medicine start giving it to her over the weekend and she continue to have an asthma attack every day all day long so then I took her to her pediatrician and the patrician was concerned as to why the hospital will prescribe the medicine that they did because that's what triggered her asthma. She asked if I told him that she has severe asthma I said yes and she was shocked that they still prescribed her that medicine. But the nurses are nice ! Just the drs don't know what they are doing at all and can't even read a their own lab work, and my daughter ended up having strep throat and they never tested her for it but she was showing all signs of it! read more

Not, a good hospital at all my hometown And I have been there a few times grant it I owe them money for overlooking a back injury I now deal with still years later my advice if anyway possible don't go here they keep throwing bills on my credit I don't even recall going so many times they are a joke read more

Stay away from this hospital!! I was told from Urgent Care to go to ER. Raulerson was just awful and negligent. I came in so weak, dizzy, dehydrated, and severe throat pain. They gave me IV fluids and said I could go home. I told them I'm too weak and dizzy to even walk or get myself to the bathroom. Doctor told me to "go home and rest." I then get discharge papers with instructions stating to "call 911 if I was experiencing any weakness or dizziness." I stated "But I'm already feeling both right now." Nurse stated "if it worsens." I stated "worsens how? I'm too weak to walk or stand, or even get myself to the bathroom." They told me to call my ride and wheeled me out to waiting area. My son is picking me up, but I told them, again, I am too weak and dizzy to walk to the car. The nurse said nothing, and left me there. I've never seen such lack of care, negligence, and incompetence, in any medical setting EVER in my 50 years!! I'm now going to be driven to the nearest hospital from here (1 hour away) Shame on the medical professionals here who completely dismissed that I can not walk. read more

My mother was in there and asked for a DNR. I had to leave and the nurse said she would bring mom the paperwork. They transferred her the next day without a DNR. Now she is in Lawnwood inhabited and it is hard to get them to remove the tubes. Mom did not want this. The nurses need to listen to their patients. read more

My dad was taken here for stomach pain. The care he received was fine, but no one would tell us anything about what was wrong with him. They kept saying they had to wait for test results. They knew it was serious but wouldn't tell us anything until we went to follow up visits with specialists a week later. They sent him home and we ended up back in The emergency room of a different hospital the next day where they were kind enough to tell us the truth even though it was bad. The new hospital requested test results from this hospital and never had calls returned. Don't go to this hospital unless it's something minor! read more

Went to Raulerson for treatment of kidney stones. Everyone I met was professional, friendly, and efficient. From triage to discharge, I did not have to wait for any phase of treatment longer than 5 minutes. Everyone expressed genuine concern for my pain. I don't like going to hospitals- just glad Raulerson was there when I needed it. read more

Took my wife to the ER with sings and symptoms of pneumonia, I'm a retired physician. The emergency room part was good, but from there to discharge the care deteriorated immensely. She was made to wait in the hallway partly undressed while waiting for a room. Once in her room the nurses were rude and unconcerned, a doctor did not see her for more than 24 hours, antibiotics and the attempt to use levonox were not explained. She had a 3 day stay and the bed was never changed. Whenever I showed up the attention given was much different. My wife was afraid to stay alone after visiting hours. Would not recommend this facility and definitely would not let anyone undergo surgery here. The drive to Sebring or the Cleveland Clinic in Lauderdale are much better choices. As a surgeon I would suspect that the post-op infection rates are high. read more

Raulerson Hospital has gone through a major change and has become an outstanding hospital. The nursing staff, administrators and doctors are all amazing and took such incredibly great care of my mother. I would've given four stars because it needs to be cooler; however, the service is so good that I just couldn't take a star away. read more

My brother checked in there with an acute asthma attack and they put him in a room with no air conditioning making it very hard for him to breathe and gave him a fan the size of a frisbee. don't go to this Hospital if you think that you need to be hospitalized for any time. read more

Spent 2 different days at the emergency room for my husbands knee. He needed an MRI but apparently nobody working in the ER knows that Raulerson does MRIs. I had to schedule one for Stuart, FL. They really need to get their act together at Raulerson and give the care that is needed. read more
