Operated by a staff of 6, all of whom are great with the children, this is, to me at least, the best of the Harborough pre-schools. They run 5 morning sessions a week, within term times, for children of 2.5 and up, and offer funded places for 3 and 4 year olds. They are great at helping nervous children settle, have a good SEN provision if required, and are very communicative and co-operative on the rare occasion any issues arise. They do a wide range of indoor and outdoor activites, including trips to local shops etc in the warmer months. They have close links with the local schools, and are very good at helping the transition to 'big school', with activites at pre-school for all the children, and even arrange extra visits to the new school if they feel the child(ren) will benefit.

My son has progressed so much since his attendance here and I only wish we knew of this school earlier. He gets excited to go to school and is even happier when he sees his main carer. He loves to sing, dance and play outside. He comes home counting and singing the alphabet. The first thing I noticed that I love is their secure outdoor playground. They also have kitchen where all healthy meals are cooked. My son is a picky eater. He doesn't eat vegetables, unless he's at school! Love the school and I know you will too.

We havent had any problems with the start of school and she now goes full time and loves it! The teachers are very friendly and helpful if you have any questions, my daughter also likes the teachers. I have heard lots of mixed reviews about the school before we started but i can honestly say i am very happy with the choice we made to send our daughter there and would not change our choice. They offer a lot of after school clubs and have just done up the libary and it is great, full of lots of lovely books and is very relaxed for the children. The school is having a christmas day out at the theater to see a pantomime and my daughter is looking forward to it! there is a really lovely friendly local feel at this school.
