The first time he removed 15 trees including some huge pines that must have been 60 ft up and 3 to 4 ft across. The next time he removed about 15 miscellaneous trees including one huge pine. I'd give Sikes negative stars if I could. I had used Sikes 20 years ago. Had 12 huge trees cut, and…read morestumps ground. Was pleased with their work. So about four months ago, I cut a tree in my front yard, and called Sikes to see if they could come out and grind the stump. I had to call three times over two weeks before I got something other than their voicemail (they had never called me back either). So I now asked if they could come out to grind the stump. They sent out someone to take a look and they left an estimate. I called back to schedule a time, and they said that since it was the one stump, they would get to it when in my neighborhood doing other work. Ok. Fair enough. Three months went by, and I saw them in my neighborhood. They drove right past my house. Then a few weeks later (yesterday) I saw their sign. They did some tree work. Cut one down. At the house LITERALLY NEXT DOOR TO MINE! And for perspective? My house and my neighbor are separated by all of....15 FEET! You couldn't be anymore in "my neighborhood" unless you were in my freaking living room!!! Oh, and my stump? Untouched. So I called them. Got their voicemail (of course). I told them the above. I told them to no longer bother. And I told them that I could have a freaking tree grow through the center of my house, and I still wouldn't call them.
