Regardless of the condition, Dr. Cella has always found a way to ensure that my father-in-law's complaints are validated; she always makes him feel respected, heard, and most importantly, provides him with relief from his pain/discomfort and/or disability. Through a friend at Stryker, we coincidentally get referred back to the same doctor that assisted me 14 years prior. It took us both a few minutes to realize this, but how could I forget him after a huge help he was back then? But the "huge help" was really coming in May of 2017 when I was in severe danger of losing my foot due to compartment syndrome. The break was so bad that walking down the aisle in October wasn't on my mind anymore, it was about "am I going to keep my foot?". I became his case study around the country and I still am. You want a doctor that's going to be informative, amazing bedside manner, and has a total sense of humor to make you feel comfortable? It's Dr. Michael Subik. He honestly pulled off a miracle for me. I had 4 major breaks - fibula, tibia, and 2 other's I can't even damn pronounce. Not to mention a bunch of other little ones where the bones pretty much were crushed to nothing. By November of 2017, after WALKING down the aisle, I was already commuting back into the city back on my feet to work. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and while everyone has different experiences, the comments I see from "Bill M." are far from the consistent truth. "Arrogant" is the last thing Dr. Subik is. He's so down to earth, communicates very well, listens and makes you a priority. His skillset is second to none. If you find yourself in an unfortunate situation needing a podiatrist, it's Dr. Subik! You'll almost be sad when you're all healed up and want to grab a beer with him!

Since I needed to see a doctor as soon as possible I was worried I'd have to wait days for an appointment. I was very happy when they offered to see me immediately considering my injury. The staff is incredibly friendly and understanding. They actually get to know you! Each time I visited the office (weekly) I felt like family. Dr. Caputo is charismatic, professional but friendly, humorous and engaging. He wants only the best for his patients. He ensured I was at ease and completely understood the extent of my injury. Each step of the way I felt confident in his treatment recommendations. Office/ exam rooms are clean and welcoming.

I had an appointment on January 29 for what was presented as a simple nail clipping for fungal…read moretesting. There was no anesthesia, no nail removal, and no surgical biopsy performed. The provider simply clipped a portion of the nail and sent it to the lab. However, I was later billed under CPT code 11755 -- which is classified as a "nail unit biopsy" and categorized as surgery. This resulted in a significantly higher charge under my insurance plan. When I asked for clarification, I was told that nail clipping is considered surgery because a small portion of the nail is removed. This explanation does not align with what most patients would reasonably understand as a surgical procedure. Patients deserve transparent billing and accurate coding that reflects the actual procedure performed. I encourage anyone visiting this office to ask detailed questions about how procedures will be coded and billed before agreeing to testing. Very disappointed with how this was handled.

I was there for 2 hours and the office staff was rude whenever I'd call for an update. Dr. Faugno apologized when he saw me. Just a few weeks ago, I called to schedule my annual physical. I was told I could not see the doctor until November (I called in May). I even mentioned that I had some health concerns, but the person who took my call didn't care. I even said I'd have to find another primary care doctor and she just says, "OK," and hung up. It's very hard to find a primary care provider these days. Even though he's a good doctor, his office staff lacks the decency to make his practice sufficient. If you actually can get an appointment, I'd still recommend looking elsewhere as you'll likely be disappointed at some point. I do respect the medical profession, but I do expect more care as a patient. Our lives are their hands.
