The cake was gorgeous and absolutely delicious - seriously the best cake I've ever had, which I would never expect to be saying about a wedding cake. It was so moist, and the frostings/fillings weren't too sweet or overpowering. All her ingredients are fresh and you can really tell this is a handmade masterpiece. She has countless unique and classic flavors to choose from and you can customize as well. All of our guests LOVED it and raved about it for days after. Whenever I asked guests if they had tried the cake yet, most people said they'd tried at least two of the flavors, if not all three. OMG! I CANNOT say enough good things about Rayne Desserts! I was married this last February. The wedding cake was my absolutle favorite part of the wedding! It was everything I envisioned and then more! When friends ask to see pictures of our wedding I show pictures of the cake first. Rayne let us pick up samples of the flavors we wanted to try. She made full 2 full sized cupcakes for us to try. We were able to cut them in pieces and include family members in the tasting! We ended up picking the Strawberries and Champagne flavor. It tasted wonderful and was a perfect "romantic " wedding flavor. I let Mariah know I wanted a two tier naked frosted cake with silver foil. I got just that with the most gorgeous piping I have ever seen! It was better than I could have pictured. Also, my florist brought over a bunch of random flowers. Mariah picked the perfect ones and arranged them flawlessly on the cake. Rayne Dessert is a rare find. If you're reading this, look no further! We had a wonderful experience working with Mariah/Rayne Desserts from our first emails, to our tasting, to our wedding day. She is incredibly kind and professional. In fact, she's so kind that even before I sampled our tasting, I said "I hope this cake is delicious because she's so nice and I hope we can hire her." Spoiler alert: it was the best cake I've ever had. Mariah was incredibly generous with the amount of cupcakes she gave us for our tasting and they were free of charge. We tried samples from other bakers but hers was absolutely the clear winner. We tasted a variety of flavors, all of which were amazing, but the strawberry champagne was our favorite. We booked immediately after finishing our tasting. On our wedding day, the cake was absolutely stunning and just as delicious as the day we first tasted it. Our guests ate the ENTIRE four tiered cake and at least 15 people told me it was the best cake they've ever had. To top it off, the cake was vegan and I kept it a secret from everyone. Nobody knew. UPDATE: Mariah made both my bridal shower and wedding cakes/cupcakes--and they both exceeded expectations. To start, the cakes were BEAUTIFUL. Like perfectly done. But on top of that, they tasted amazing. Moist, soft, flavorful--and gluten + dairy free!!! But you wouldn't even know. We did the white cake, strawberry champagne, lemon berry and cinnamon roll, as well as brownies at the wedding. Guests at both occasions were shocked by how delicious the cakes and brownies were, they could not believe they were gf/df. They are some of my husband's favorite brownies and he doesn't even have allergies! Rayne desserts is absolutely amazing! Mariah is so professional and sweet and I recommend her to anyone, especially for wedding cakes! My husband and I had our very first wedding cake wasting with her and we hired her on the spot! You can get four tasting cupcakes (which are regular sized) for free (she did two cupcakes of each flavor for my husband and me) and she charges $5 for each tasting after but she waived the fifth one for us. She did our wedding cakes and the guests raved about it all night to my husband! We chose a small two-tiered strawberry shortcake with whipped cream and strawberries on the inside and and white buttercream on the outside for the ceremony, and we got a sheet cake with the same flavors for our guests. I requested silver pearls, which was one of our wedding colors and they were beautifully placed on the cake. I ordered some extra gerbera daisies through my florist and Mariah stayed a little while longer after dropping it off to arrange them beautifully on our cake. She got up early in the morning to make the cake the day of my wedding as well! My maid of honor commented especially on how fresh the cake was and how she thinks that most wedding cakes are stale. Mariahs cakes are absolutely the best ever. We hired her for our wedding cake. We picked her Mexican vanilla, cinnamon roll, and tiramisu flavors, we ordered for 120 people, had 80 attend, and all our cake was devoured before we could even get any. It was THAT good. Got my 3rd cake from Mariah yesterday. She did our wedding cake last year, it was GORGEOUS and delicious. We contacted her in June to do my husband's birthday cake.
