However, every time I would grow out my hair, and them ask them to keep the fro, but clean it up and make me look good, they would mess it up. It got to the point where I started thinking maybe I was asking for something that didn't exist... Anyway, I decided to give Tailor Made Cuts a try. I walked in with my fro (I'd been avoiding getting it cut cause of the previous disappointments), and showed them a picture and said this is what I'm looking for. The Barber said no problem, and shortly later he was done. I looked in the mirror, and was like wow, this is the best cut I've had in 10 years, no lie. if you want your average close cut, go anywhere, but if you want something more then that, see Tailor Made Cuts. They've really done a nice job in preparation for the Covid protections, very well thought out, keeping the safety of their clients and themselves in mind. We both got terrific haircuts by a new trainee, fully supervised by Samantha who proves to be an excellent stylist. She has been cutting hair for decades and very experienced, accurate and quick! The prices are very reasonable considering inflation. Please bring cash to tip as it is better for the barbers! You can tip via a card, but cash is always more convenient for them.
