THOROUGH EVALUATION We met with the following specialists: SEAN O'HARA (AC repair) - AC stopped emitting cool air. Fixed issue w/ filter repair. ALFRED BIRNHAUPL (AC leak repair) - Fixed pipe leak from AC and completed comprehensive assessment of our dysfunctional zoning system. DOMENICK ALONGE (project manager) - Reviewed findings from Alfred, provided detailed indication of issues and resolution options with several quotes. Here's why our experience has been superior to previous companies: All three specialists were not only punctual, friendly, and courteous, but they took their time to evaluate our issues in CLEAR layman terms corroborated by photos, and showing us exactly where the problems were in person. We previously obtained a quote from a large corporate company and was left feeling dumbfounded and stressed as they described the nature of our problem in engineering, technical jargon that made absolutely no sense, including astronomical quotes without explanation of the work entailed. We continued experiencing intermittent issues with our AC and heater so we called Friends & Family based on their excellent reviews. This time around, with Friends & Family, we left feeling knowledgeable and reassured, with reasonable quotes including various discount eligibility. We didn't feel pressured by them to choose one route vs. the other; rather, gained the information we needed to make an informed decision that would prevent such issues in the future. Overall, their attention to detail, ability to explain the issues and resolution routes in simple, concrete terms, were far superior than the preceding company. They exceeded our expectations and we much appreciated their patience and openness to answering all our questions. I also want to mention that I was gardening when SEAN was fixing our AC. He saw me struggling to dig a hole for my plant and volitionally offered to help me. He took the extra time to dig the hole for me, exemplifying his genuine kindness and generosity! Similarly, my kids were running amuck and screaming and shouting while I attempted to maintain a conversation with ALFRED. He was very understanding and continued to engage in conversation, appearing unbothered by the chaos with a pleasant disposition. Lastly, DOMENICK was appointed on the day of our son's birthday. He related to us interpersonally and even helped assemble my son's new Radio Flyer bike! I told him that Sean also helped me garden and we laughed about how Friends & Family is a "one-stop shop." Given everything I mentioned, we're excited to have our overdue AC/heater system fully repaired by Friends & Family. We can't wait for our longstanding issues to be behind us, and we anticipate leaving an updated review once the work is complete!

I called RC Air conditioning as my last hope. I have been dealing with a home warranty A/C contractor for almost two months. Today was the last straw!!! After reading through the YELP reviews I made the call. Evelyn was professional and empathetic. She said she would try to see how the techs were doing. Within 30 minutes she called me back and told me she was able to get someone out To our house today, this evening. WOW!!! Paul arrived on time and for working all day in this heat he was very pleasant. He conducted a thorough examination of the equipment and explained what he was doing and checking for every step of the way. He suspected our coils were frozen which is why no cold air was coming through the vents. After an hour or so he was packing up and a lot of cold air was coming out of the vents. After all the work he did "Thank You" doesn't begin to express my gratitude. I could not have asked for a better response from RC Air Conditioning on such short notice. Best home improvement experience i have ever encountered. Extremely fast response. They were out to my house within 3 hours of me calling, on a Sunday no less. Showed up in professional attire and their sprinter was top notch. Went right to work took one look at it and knew exactly what it was. They took all of the safety precautions necessary. And fixed it in less than 20 minutes. The best part was personality and friendliness. I have never come close to this type of experience. I have to really commend you on walking into my home and not only being friendly but almost making it feel like we've been friends for years. Over holiday weekend my ac went out, and I called Rc air, the came out with a reasonable holiday service fee and informed me that my ac compressor failed. The tech gave me a few options to fix my issue to get me cooking again, but due to holiday and supply houses closed on Fourth of July and needing a new ac condenser it would have to wait until July 5th and hand us portable ac units to help cool our home until job could be done. So on July 5th at 630pm Rc air crew came out as there last call and installed our new condenser and we couldn't be happier. Paul with RC Air saves the day! He helped us out during the winter time by correctly diagnosing a furnace issue. We had two other companies come out and they did not seem eager to spend the time to actually find the issue. Paul then came out and troubleshooted the system and had it up and running the same day! But instead he identified the crushed ductwork and "un-crushed " them. Air is now flowing to all the rooms! And for $300! I'm very happy.
