Then he stopped responding to calls or texts. There was a lot of red flags....after googling him, the word "fraud" comes up often. We have a few friends who also have had issues with him. Aaron Simerly had us write checks to many of his "companies" for our payments. (JT Shaw, Affordable Roofing, and some to him personally). Also, He didn't want to give us an address to mail a check to, insisting he come to our house and pick it up. I ran out of check blanks and needed to send an electronic payment. After many texts back and forth (yes, weird) he finally had me send the check to his rental home. Our roof permit was had yet another company on it (that we had never heard of) so I assume Aaron was advertising himself as licensed/insured and maybe is not. ??? I would skip any company this dude is involved with. "Fraud" and "doesn't answer our calls" seems to be a common theme. We sure wish we had never met him.

Weeks later, very little was done to finish the work and we finally fired him out of frustration with the promises of completion. They left a total mess on our property, which we had to clean up, including the cigarette butts and "Corona" bottle caps. Don't let this guy on your property!!!
