Dennis is a very unreasonable person. He was to rent a house to me, and had emailed a lease, signed…read moreand ready for me to sign. I had to travel for work and didn't immediately jump on the lease, but assured him that I wanted the house. The day I arrived back in town, I signed the lease and was emailing him that it was on it's way, and that the check was to follow shortly after. (I use bill pay, as many people do these days, so it sends directly from my bank). He emailed back and said that he would need both by Wednesday the following week. This was on Friday. The bank needs at least 5 business days so I emailed and told him just that, but if it's absolutely necessary that he have it Wednesday I can go to Wells Fargo and have them get me a few one-off checks and include it in the mail that I am sending him. He emailed back and said that due to my logistics issues, he would no longer lease to me. I was trying to accommodate him and even offering to go out of my way, but the man is unreasonable. I had already told my landlord I was moving out, and he had already listed an ad for my current house. Don't expect him to honor any verbal promise. Unreasonable and unprofessional.
