Having spent much of my professional career in supervisory and management roles, I understand the importance of collaboration, respect, and effective communication when managing. Unfortunately, Kerber--and by extension, the HOA board--has lost the respect of homeowners by trying to control residents rather than responsibly manage the community. That approach reflects poor leadership and ineffective management skills. I decided to go with Joe after meeting with a few agents because he had reached out to me a few times before I decided to list with an agent to sell my home. The first issue arose when I received a message from a neighbor who informed me they called the police because someone was in my home at 10:30 at night with a flashlight and the door was left open, this was also the same day of an inspection. I tried and failed to get ahold of Joe for three days who's phone was off. I called the office to find out what was going on and was put in touch with Dan. Dan informed me that Joe would not be working due to personal reasons and he would be taking care of my listing. Days went by and I had heard nothing so I called Dan to request to be released from my contract since Joe was gone, no one thought to inform me of this, and they were scrambling to cover everything (which Dan had expressed), he was incredibly rude and disrespectful to me raising his voice and yelling the details of the personal issues going on in their family, which I will not detail because it was very unprofessional of Dan to tell me, they are personal and I should have never been involved (I have never been spoken to this way by a "professional" or felt more disrespected) after repeatedly asking to be released from the contract he refused. Joe eventually came back to work and time after time I was unable to get ahold of him. After asking him the week prior twice to make sure there were not any appointments at the house on a certain weekend that we would be in town we were surprised by the buyer, their agent, and their whole family. We had another emergency issue the week before closing that I was also unable to get ahold of Joe for. To top off this experience Joe did not attend the closing for the full time but stopped by. I cannot imagine a worse experience.

They managed my property for 10 years…read moreand every year I promised myself that I would fire them but managed to forgive them for their non stop mistakes. Here are just a few problems i had with them. It would take them over 2 months to get my property rented whenever it was vacant. Sometimes 3 months! Simple repairs such as replacing blinds would take a month or two to complete. Especially if I requested to get another bid when I decided to not use their over priced in-house maintenance crew of 1. Getting them to reply to emails or phone calls was like pulling teeth. Not to mentioned their high turnover rate at their office, I never knew who i'd be dealing with. They forgot about paying what was due to me 3 times. Their monthly account statements never made any sense and every time I reached out to get an explanation, nobody in the office knew how to read or explain the statements to me. Thats IF I was able to get a hold of them on the phone. It was as if a 3rd grader was responsible for account statements and management. (no offense to 3rd graders). When they found out that I was selling my investment property through another brokerage they just stopped replying to me all together. I was ghosted by a company simply because I did not feel comfortable in their skills, or should I say lack of skills. Finally, I received a collection notice from the City that my utility bill was never paid. NEVER PAID! And I ended up going to collections because of them. Despite them having received multiple notices from the city that payment was overdue, they did not bother reaching out to me. I sold my property last year and I'm still dealing with shitty business practices. Ryan, you can blow it out of your a$$. Your team and company suck! I wish I can leave you zero stars but yelp only allows a one star review. THIS COMPANY IS AWEFUL!!!!!!
