To All at Emkay Title -…read more
We have reached a milestone, in my eyes, in our new home, and our cup had runneth over. This New Year's Day is our first here, and we still cannot believe our good fortune in celebrating this day wrapped in security. That night, as the clock began the countdown to January 1st, my daughter came to me with tears glistening in her eyes, and without saying a word, I knew. Her smile said, "Thank you, Mom, for giving us something all our own. And for giving your granddaughter her own space, her own bed, her own room with a view." And I will never forget my husband's words, "I think this is probably the happiest day of my life. This moment, this day, was meant to be - for us, for our family." And again, as I have done many times since our big move, I thought of each of you in this tiny company.
Thank you, Keisha, for your guidance, for the many phone calls to ensure that I was kept informed at all times, for showing me how to fulfill a dream with what little I had, and for your seemingly tireless, non-stop quest to lead me and my family to where we are today.
Thank you, Melissa, for your wonderful smile, your ever present glow, for not giving up on me and my numerous demands. It was a thrill to get the final package from you. I remember the little rush of warmth inside me at the little smiley face you drew on the envelope.
And thank you to the beautiful young lady at the front desk, Roxie. Thank you for your incomparable high quality of customer service, for your deep reservoir of patience. You are the voice of Emkay, and your dedication to your company shows through and through. You rock, young lady, and don't you let anyone ever, ever tell you any different.
I know that there were many more people that were involved in this whole process - real estate agents, lenders, underwriters - that you at Emkay have handpicked to help me out. I owe my gratitude to them, too, and I am grateful that Emkay has chosen you to walk me through this journey.
What I want to say to you all is this - anyone that does not see the integrity and value of the hard work you do every single day probably needs to get a job at the White House so they can truly understand what it means to be incompetent. Because that, my darlings, is not you. Whenever I hear of a friend, family member, or co-worker that is looking to buy a new house, I tell them, "Look up Emkay Title. I promise you a painless ride to your new destination."
Again, thank you, from my family to yours. A toast to you all, and may you find prosperity, good health, and lots and lots of customers this coming year.
