A lot of stress, anxiety, and unmet expectation could be avoided by due diligence. Reachout is a crisis pregnancy center, with Catholic messaging, and founded on pro-life beliefs. This should be fairly evident by the photos on the website, and the fact that the options listed on the website include parenting and adoption. The website very clearly states that abortion services are not offered. Reachout does what it says it does, nothing more and nothing less. That won't be right for every person or every situation, but I like it for what it is and the services it does offer. read more

If you need stuff, they provide, but it'll cost you. Not money or donation but with self-esteem. The place is overwhelmingly Catholic. If you want to feel like a Sinning incompetent beggar, go there. They are very one-sided and pushy with religious views and they have no issues making you feel like a POS for needing help for yourself and especially your children. They do a wonderful job making sure you leave feeling guilty & awkward for needing help and for accepting it. You go in needing diapers/supplies and you leave with diapers, guilt and anxiety. All in a matter of minutes. Nice. They provide a good amount of items but for each item you accept, the more guilt they pile on. Would not recommend to a friend. Very displeased with them. Crisis pregnancy center -- I would recommend staying away from Reachout at all costs if you can avoid it.

My pregnancy was unexpected and I had no idea how far along I was. My cycles are around 50 days because I am breastfeeding my 22 months toddler. I went in to my OB for an ultrasound on May 5th, was able to see the gestational sac and was told to come back in two weeks because it was too early to see the baby. So being the impatient fool I am I waited a week then on May 12th decided to go to Reachout for an ultrasound. I gave the nurse (Genevieve) my LMP but explained the length of the cycle and that I know the date of conception was 4/14. She did the ultrasound and saw the yolk sac, did some measurements and tells me that she is afraid this is a failed pregnancy. Based on the size of the GS (16mm) and the embryo (2mm) and the fact that I was 7 weeks with such a small embryo. She recommended that I go to the ER for further examination and to schedule a D&C. I was confused, devastated, and then angry! How could a normally progressing pregnancy be considered a failure? I of course consulted Dr Google for hours on end, comparing ultrasound images. I convinced myself that she was wrong. My measurements were within parameters, I had seen normal progression, and my hCG was doubling appropriately. She didn't seem to even consider my longer than usual cycles before handing down this diagnosis! I decided to obviously wait until my next appointment with my OB and deal with whatever I found out then.Today I had my follow up ultrasound and I saw not only the baby, but the heartbeat. I'm 7 weeks 2 days pregnant. Another nurse (Malva) did follow up with me and expressed great concern. She was thrilled and relieved to hear that her colleague's diagnosis was incorrect. They seem to really care and clearly help a lot of people in our community however, I think that perhaps additional ultrasound training would benefit this organization. Additionally, I recommend always seeking a second opinion before accidentally aborting a much wanted pregnancy. read more

As a young pro life catholic I went to Reachout when I missed my period to confirm my suspicions since I knew them to be a pro life clinic. I was devastated but I went ahead and scheduled the ultrasound with them anyway because I had to make sure I was taking care of this fetus properly. When I went in for the ultrasound I was appalled by the nurses behavior I filled out some paperwork and handed it to her naturally assuming she was going to input whatever information into the computer so I went to check my phone while waiting. I heard her say "do you want me to reschedule for when you're not busy?" Obviously confused I looked at her and said "I'm not busy" and she had the audacity to respond with "I've been staring at you" We are both adults I'm not an elementary schooler who needs to be treated like a child and for a 'professional' to treat their patient like that I'm surprised she still has a job there. needless to say because of this terrible experience I will never return or recommend them to any of my friends read more

First, the bad. Despite having a seemingly unjumental and non-biased website that makes no mention of politics or religon, it is very much a conservative, pro-life, Christian facility. Which was very unexpected and kind of deceptive... My partner and I were open about the fact that we were considering abortion if my pregnancy turned out to be more than the chemical pregnancy we hoped it was (due to serious and life threatening medical issues on my part). In response, the staff offered to show us a "very scientific video" on abortion. Out of curiosity, we consented. Turned out to be very pro-life with a former abortionist on the verge of tears as she describes the various ways she used to murder babies. Only one mention of fetuses. No mention if zygotes. Always referred to fetuses as babies. And she threw in completely outdated and illegal practices like they might be done today... After the video, I brought up these issues with the staff member who watched with us and she admitted that she didn't think it was biased before hand because she herself was pro-life... The back rooms are also full of crosses, Christian and conservative pamplets, bibles, and conservative-Christian literature with no other religions or political views oriented materials in sight. Now that you've been warned of that much, they do provided free urine tests and ultrasounds. You do have to interpret then yourself which seems a bit odd but they get it done very quickly and in short notice. They also have resources to help women who intend to keep their babies. I saw several women recieve free clothing and supplies for their babies. Plus the staff is friendly and the lady who ran the ultrasound machine was particularly considerate and helpful once I explained my situation. read more

I have known about Reachout since 2009. In 2015 I began volunteering and got to see the inside of Reachout. Their compassion for people and whom they serve is amazing. They go beyond just services, they listen, they care, they help, and they refer. Any woman who is in need of help or services would be welcomed at Reachout. read more

As far as I know Reachout is NOT a medical center nor do they deliver babies. What they do is offer women in need free pregnancy tests and free ultrasounds and supply new mothers with layettes, diapers and clothing. The negative reviews appear to be misguided. read more
