The reason for my rating is thus. We bought 5 items and after they were rung up she took our debit card and told us there was a 4% charge which ended up almost $8.00 ! This is ridiculous. Firstly there are many options out there for businesses that are WAY LESS costly and secondly the business or the vendor should be the responsible party ..... not the customer! If I sell online it's my responsiblity to pay any charges and when I have a booth at another mall nearby it is also my responsibility to cover the fees. But both are nominal next to what this mall is charging customers. They better find out fast how to fix this as buyers are not going to want to pay these exhorbanant fees for giving them there business.

According to the workers, their shops were new-ish due to half the space being constructed into a microbrewery. Prior to that, they were spread out around the space. Blue & Grey is the only book store within the four walls. The majority of the selection are history books and cookbooks. I found a large copy of the Illustrated History of Jackson County which detailed postal codes, city development, and land ownership in the early years. Other history topics include WWI, the American Revolution, and the Civil War. I also found the Collectors' Guide to Cookie Jars.There are some VCRs on the shelves too. Everything is reasonably priced. Becky, the owner, was bubbly. She talked to me about what's inside the store and showed me the adjacent art gallery featuring 12 local artists. It seemed that she really enjoyed working in this space with the artists. In short, this space is worth a walk through, and if you can support any of the local artists/vendors inside, do it!

That's certainly the case with Planet Queen's proprietors. They know music and know it to a degree that would be frightening were it not instead so awesome. Terrible movies? Well yes, those too. Terrible TV shows? Again, YES! The inventory is organized intuitively and is both easy to navigate and constantly growing. Be sure to ask them about the HALLMARK MOVIE that filmed across the street from them. Oh, and ignore the 1-star review from the guy named Gordon. He's a literal Old Crank who elects to try to sabotage the businesses of people he doesn't care for. Read the review and you'll see he's never been in the place. Lame.
