Paul mixes in songs that my son already likes along with the fundamentals, so practicing at home feels less like homework and more like something he actually wants to do. As a parent, it's been amazing to watch him sit down at the drum set with excitement instead of resistance. The progress we've seen has been incredible. His rhythm, timing, and coordination have improved so much, but what stands out to me the most is his confidence. My son used to hesitate when trying something new, but with Paul's encouragement, he's learned to just go for it and keep pushing himself. Paul has this great balance of being encouraging and patient while also holding his students accountable so they don't just mess around. It's exactly what kids need, someone who believes in them but also challenges them to do better each week. My son now practices on his own, shows off the new beats he learns, and even talks about wanting to play in a band someday, which is something he never would have imagined before starting lessons. The academy itself has been wonderful too. Everyone at the front desk is organized and helpful, scheduling is simple, and the whole place has a positive, family-friendly vibe. From the moment you decide to walk through the Temecula location doors, everyone is kind, patient, and helpful. Marisol was crucial when signing up for the program. She was very responsive and answered all my questions. Denise Kirkendall was instrumental in receiving a WIOA grant. Signing up for the program was easy. HSTI even provided all the textbooks, uniforms and even a brand new laptop. But I have to say the star of the show is Mr. Mike the Pharmacy Tech instructor. He has made learning fun, relatable and manageable. It's great for me who is someone that has been away from the classroom setting for almost 20 years. I look forward to our once a week class. I'm excited to be in the Pharmacy / Medical field. The future is once again bright.

She came home absolutely raving about the amazing time she had and how much fun it was! She spoke so highly of her counselors, Natalie and Esmie, and said they were incredibly kind and supportive. It really made a difference in her overall experience. A couple of minor downsides: she mentioned the "Yapatorium" (the sanctuary) had a lot of talking (I'm sure it was educational). Also, one of the bathrooms either didn't have a working lock or the lock was broken, so the girls had to share another bathroom or have someone stand outside for privacy. Food-wise, there were no issues, but my daughter didn't love most of the meals. She said the pizza was the best and the tacos were her least favorite. However, when I spoke with some of her cabin mates, they said the food was good -- so this may just come down to personal preference (she can be a bit picky!). The registration portal was very easy to use, and the website was up to date and helpful throughout the process. Overall, she had a wonderful experience and came home with great memories.

The children were allotted four minutes each for showers; however, I don't view this as a negative thing, as there really are a lot of children, and you simply can't allocate a vast amount of time to each individual without causing long delays for everyone else. The kids didn't even have a chance to get bored. My daughter usually spends her days at home glued to her phone or the TV, and she's not easily impressed--yet she really loved this camp.

The lesson were from 9-3 , Lisa kept the class entertained, engaging . not once did I lost interest. She had us practiced on the dummy after each video. She stood closely observing each students to make sure we were doing the correct maneuver on our personal dummy. She did not hesitate or shy about showing us the right way to do the compression. She took her time to explained the videos with more depth , answered questions thoroughly in laymen terms where we all can better understand. Lisa was an EXCELLENT instructor, I left her class feeling confident in knowing I can perform CPR the correct way.
