And, they had the nerve to charge me a cancelation fee (which I easily disputed on the app) after waiting almost 20 minutes for the driver to arrive. RDJ traffic can be horrendous but they never came close to our location. Their GPS coordinates were off too, regardless of calling from a location with a business name and actual address, with the driver ending up on the opposite side of a very busy street. Fret not as there were positives, like dirt cheap prices compared to back in the good 'ol USA, sans for NYC, with safe and courteous drivers. Vehicle cleanliness and comfort levels were okay.

The price of a ride on Uber in rio is about 30-50% less than a cab, and there's a few additional benefits of taking an Uber in Rio. Cabs are often targets of criminals at red lights. Uber cars are unmarked and don't scream Tourists with money. This is a great addition to Rios war against crime when you think about it.

No need to book in advance, I recommend just wait for the good day and call/WhatsApp then on the same day. I was able to pick a short route that loop he Christ of the redeemer twice and flew over Ipanema beach and Copacabana beach, also get to see the sugarloaf from above. The best would be three person that's the minimum they can fly; or just two person you can pay the third seat to have the tour for your own.
