This is the home where in the movie you meet the Devil - Gary Marshall & Penny Marshall from the TV Show Laverne & Shirley. There are also Trick or Treating Scenes filmed here as well with several houses right next door. There is also a park across the street you can check out as well. You can also drive by East Whittier Middle School which was Jacob Bailey High School in the movie. Some Interior Shots were filmed there on 14421 Whittier Blvd. To make it worth your trip check out some other Cool Local Spots in Whittier. However I do recommend donating since they put in much effort to offer us a super great experience, they have QR codes all around the house where you can scan and make an easy donation. You can also support by buying their merch which include T shirts in my experience. Their only open on certain days and I highly suggest checking out their Instagram @twisted_dreams_haunt which they post their schedule. To enter you simply step in line and as you near the front they hand you a waiver which is for your entire party, once signed you're ready for a super fun adventure! I also love the fact that they send parties in one by one to ensure a full experience. So no jump scares will be spoiled! But because they do this the lines also take a very long time. So I definitely recommend going on the earlier dates before Halloween because the 31st is often super packed.

I also like how you go through the maze with just you + the people you came with which makes the experience even better since it's focused on your group. It's free to go through the house but would definitely recommend donating so they can keep up the awesome work :) Will be back soon for round two before the 2022 Halloween season is over!

Located on a little cul-de-sac off of Rancho Del Sol Drive in Covina, lies a spooky, scary yet festive, mini carnival open to the public every Halloween...The family who presents this genius version of Halloween will most likely make your mouth open and close several times with "oooo's & awe's," plus a few shrieks here & there too! Much thought has gone into this Halloween display. If you are up for it, there is a "Vertigo Tunnel" that will make your head spin! Just remember to grab onto the railings! This was my second time here and it won't be my last! *Free to the public but donations are much appreciated!

After Game 7 of the World Series, we went to check it out. All I can say is . . . WOW!!! I cannot even begin to describe how unbelievable this experience was. It was like a carnival with moving parts everywhere. I can't imagine the time spent to assemble (and disassemble) this amazing display. The tunnel with the spinning lights was crazy! I felt like I was swaying from side to side. You could spend hours here just admiring every little detail. It is absolutely AWESOME, and you should make it a point to stop by next year! I believe they open up their home every year for two days only (October 31 and November 1). How lucky were we that we got to witness this spectacular Halloween display!!

So parking is peak during night time For first timers, there are regular and express. $20 or so difference to skip the line but it's not a long wait. ROT has two different experience: lights out or non-lights. The difference...not much. However, they have one strict rule: phones are off and no videography after the introductory video because they have cameras everywhere and they will know. In lights out, a group (max of 5) is given one glow stick and must travel at least 12 mazes with lights completely out. So everything that would potentially scare you...ranging from scare actors jumping out, animatronics attacking from all angles and even loud sounds would startle the bravest. It's my first time and all I got was like 2 flinches and that's it. The drive here is insane unless you are local so I recommend leaving early. Nonlights is where it's the same thing but some guests want to see the full animatronics but less scare. At the end I the maze, there is merch store. Overall, highly recommend lights out and plus it's cheaper and it's worth it.

This is a very long haunted house type maze which had a lot of creative scares. Experience: This experience is like no other. I enjoyed that they staggered the groups so you got to experience all the timed scares. This is different from things like Halloween Horror Nights where you are crammed in a slow moving line and can barely get scared because of how crowded it is. I don't want to spoil the scares, but I can say that they were very cool and nothing I've seen or experienced before. The whole experience is about 30 minutes and each room is so well decorated. I would say though that you have to wait about 30-45 minutes in line to get into the experience though even with the timed entry due to how popular it is. Price: Reasonably priced for the quality of experience you got! They put so much effort into decorating. Parking: Located in a mall, so parking is plentiful and secure. We had no trouble finding parking.
