Yeah... me either, but I really felt like I just needed to say just how impressed I am with Black Box. Being in my mid 20's, I never really thought much (ok, I admit it, I've NEVER thought) about a home inventory service. I'm constantly on the go and thinking about everything else BUT THAT. It all changed for me pretty quickly though. I currently live in a high-rise condo in the city, and let me tell you one thing: as much as I love my apartment, it is almost always giving me trouble in one way or another. Living in a condo doesn't mean you're just in your unit. Nopeeeee... you might as well say that you have 5,000 other roommates. In my time here, I have seen pipes burst and flood more than six floors, leaks from air conditioners in units above ruin the ceilings of apartments below, toilets flood and cause damage to neighboring units, etc. You're really just not safe from damage. So, why take any additional risk? With that, of course I purchased home insurance. To compliment it, I knew I needed to get inventory of all my assets just in case. I bought a Groupon deal for Black Box, and I can confidently say that I have never had greater service. ANYWHERE! The male customer service rep that I spoke to was super friendly and able to quickly assess my needs. When they came to my place, both of the Black Box reps were very professional and KIND. They arrived ON TIME (unlike cable tv reps -_-), and they gave me a thorough explanation of the whole process. The detailed binder that I received after my home inventory was not only completely accurate with the pricing, but it was organized and done VERY, VERY WELL. You can tell that they really put a lot of work into what they do (even the quick snapshots of the inventory was high quality). So rare to come by these days - I just felt the need to say that they went way above my expectations. (Ask for Mike or Rob, they are WONDERFUL!!) Black Box = PERFECT housewarming gift, Christmas gift, ANYTIME gift to all - homeowners, renters, it just doesn't matter - everyone needs to take the time to have this done. And to be honest, I'm sure there are other companies that do a great job on home inventory as well. But, if you want a company that you can trust (both with your belongings and with delivering a quality product) and actually enjoy corresponding with, the Black Box team is it. However, I had some trouble getting someone over the phone as did my cosigner and her references. The breaking point was when one of their representatives lied to me, telling me that my application was denied due to them not being able to get in touch with my cosigner's personal references. Now, being denied isn't the issue, but the dishonesty about something I can easily check just by asking around is unacceptable. I don't recommend renting through this company, I wouldn't trust them to be honest with you either.

This constitutes a breach of trust and may be a criminal offense but at the very least we will be pursuing this in civil court if our money is not refunded.
