My living room has nine windows and I had just purchased the blinds to go with them. Alas,…read moreinstalling them was not something I could do. Made an appointment with Ryan and he was here yesterday to install them. He did an excellent job in a short amount of time. In fact, he also installed two other blinds that were not on the schedule in another room. He is friendly and personable and knows his job. He is definitely on our list to call when we have more work to be done. 11-12-19 Ryan was back at our house. This time to install blinds in our downstairs front parlor. Great job! Just as last time! Thanx!

Stay FAR FAR away from this business. Back in 2019 we entered into a contract with this so called…read more"handyman" or lack their of. Then for some reason he abruptly cancels and walks away from said contract less than 24 hours that the work is to be completed!!! When this contractor decided to do this it put a huge ripple effect on being able to finish up repairs prior to putting house on the market. (He cancels using some "structure damage" BS excuse) clearly, not a true handyman, that would notice "Homeowner caused damage due to walking Improperly in attic.) I also, had to pursue the matter in court. Due to the fact, that I was going to have to pay $380 more out-of-pocket to get the job done from the next contractor in line. (Which has happened and repairs have been completed.) Furthermore, I can tell you that I did take this contractor to court. *At the time that the court date was set, I was unable to have the work finished and or repaired. Ultimately, after two and 1/2 hours presenting the case it was dismissed "without prejudice" (which clearly shows that the contractor was in the wrong!) I just merely needed to have documentation with the repairs corrected and final payment submitted to the court to render the awarding verdict. which would be the repayment of any overage that I had to pay out of pocket from his initial invoice. Feel free to check Pennsylvania public records, look under his company name you can see that I had to go through these measures. Personally, I believe when you have to go through something like this that the contractor involved should lose his license along with the right to work in said state the incident occurred in. Therefore, I feel that it is extremely beneficial that I get this information out to everyone.

We recently hired Cumberland Fence Company to install a split rail fence along our property line,…read moreand we couldn't be more pleased with the experience. After requesting quotes from about ten local fence companies, Cumberland stood out immediately -- they were the most responsive, offered a very competitive price, and were the only company that took the time to visit our property before preparing an estimate. From the initial consultation through the final installation, their communication, professionalism, and workmanship were excellent. The entire project was handled smoothly and completed exactly as promised. We will absolutely use Cumberland Fence Company again for any future fence-related work.

Reviews prior to our contract with CFC March 2025 were glowing 5 of 5 stars and Jonathan was responsive. We gave him a deposit of $11000.00. There were expected delays...work mods, permits & Spring weather. Jonathan supervised delivery of materials in May. Asking in June when work would begin, Jonathan said he had an injury preventing him from beginning the project. Asking for return of the balance of the deposit less the materials, Jonathan said there would be none. Direct contact with CFC was fruitless until retaining legal counsel in July. I Sydnee later would recant that being an "oversight" agreeing to a repayment of almost $5000.00 in 3 payment schedule beginning in September. No payment was ever attempted leading to an October claim in the PA courts. Cumberland County constable was unable to notify CFC at the business address in Mt Holly Springs. "Empty" was the landlord answer to the constable. Case dismissed in December. . The PA Dept of Consumer affairs declined action as civil action was taken despite that dismissal in January 2026. The State Police were consulted at our legal counsel's recommendation February 2026. In review, the detective recommended contact with CFC owners at the address that they had in their data base, not offering criminal action for fraud etc. That address was referred directly to our attorney in order to seek a 2nd filing for relief in PA courts, filed in May 2026. Again, the constable was unable to serve notice at that given address. I'll add that as of January 2026 there was no license or business listing by the PA AG hotline for CFc or Jonathan, or Sydnee Lowe. Now 15 months later June 2026, would you risk doing business with these unlicensed contractors? All said I would attest to these fact by affidavit if asked. Caveat Emptor (let the Buyer Beware) t The laws of PA, it's courts & agencies can't always protect you as our example provided.
