I show up with way off the radar hair ideas and Ashley works with me until we figure it out. And, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that she will do late evening, weekend, whatever is needed. I get fantastic Extensiology extensions with Rebel, and masterfully placed color. Adore that any idea I bring to her, if she isn't sure, she doesn't pretend to know right away, but does the research to learn. This is one of Whitefish's treasures. read more

Great short pixie hair cut. I love it! It's a very relaxed atmosphere in the salon and my hair dresser knew what she was doing.

All I can say is that I am very disappointed and sad. I have cried about my hair since I got it done. Ashley asked me in the beginning of the appointment how attached I am to my hair. I told her I am very attracted. She chopped off about 12 inches without discussing it with me and also thinned my hair terribly. She had me turned to where I could not see what she was doing to my hair. After I saw my hair I was in shock and she knew I did not like it. And told me " it will take a couple days till you start liking it." No, it's been a few days and I still haven't because I loved my long hair. On top of it I did not get the highlights we discussed. I tried contacting her about it and she has not got back to me. I would not recommend this place at all. Unless you want something you do not want. She charged me an ungodly amount of money to butcher my hair. read more

The overall experience was just weird. It took way too long and I ended up with a bad cut. Didn't know how to work with curly hair and just wanted to chop it. Then wanted to style it how she wanted rather than what I wanted. Overall, not good and very weird. read more

Had a wonderful experience with Ashley at Rebel Salon today! Love my hair cut and loved the relaxing scalp massage too! I was worried moving here from CA it might be hard to find a great hair stylist and I have been pleasantly surprised! She also cut my 3 yrs old sons hair back in Jan. She was so wonderful with him and chopping off his long blond hair was not at all traumatic for us. His short cut was adorable and is still growing out beautifully. Also Ashley had no issue wearing a mask to keep everything super safe with the uptick of Covid. read more

Oh my gosh, you guys ... ASHLEY is the best and I've never even seen her!!! Here's the deal: I'm new to the area and currently searching for a new stylist "Somewhere in western MT". A few weeks ago I reached out to several stylists who had great reviews via my google search and ... long story short accidentally thought I made an appointment with a different stylist (similar name) at a different salon like 2.5 hours away. When ASHLEY and I finally solved the mystery, there was no way I could get to her in time and she was 100% UNDERSTANDING and PROFESSIONAL and KIND. Totally top notch customer service. I'm so embarrassed and she was TOTALLY GRACIOUS. I wish I lived closer to Whitefish. This salon clearly rocks and I look forward to driving up there for my spring root job ; ). read more

Me and my boyfriend just moved into town, needed some haircuts. Always a little nerve racking trying out new places. But from the moment we walked in Ashley's door, it felt like home. She's great at what she does! (Men and women both). My hair is dead straight, and my boyfriend's is curly and does what it wants when it wants. I walked out with a beautiful cut and volume, and his hair looks lovely, tamed and manageable ;) The ambiance is very comfortable, the conversation is authentic, and she even takes the extra steps to make you feel like you're at a spa with warm lavender wraps and loving, super yummy head massage. I'm one of those guys who didn't used to care about where he got his haircuts. A year ago I wised up and found someone reputable in LA (where I live). Since then I've refused to get my hair cut anywhere else. Until today, when I realized I was shaggy and won't be back in LA for a while. And I was wildly pleased. Ashley is awesome. She's meticulous and really works to get the details right. She spent a while understanding what I wanted to do with my hair and making sure she was careful to check with me along the way. The entire experience from the wash to the cut was great. And I was (gasp) really happy with my hair after. Definitely recommend her. We got in with her last minute to get "up do's" for a wedding (we were bridesmaids). She is a very nice person and felt like she meant well, but she spent 1.5 hours on my hair for it to look like a 5year old played with it and pinned it up. It was honestly a pretty bad experience and when we went to get our makeup done another lady took my hair out and complete redid it. Not one person thought it looked good. It was horrid. I would never in a million years go back there for an up-do, Im not a hairdresser but I could do 100x better than that. Sorry but it's true. She was nice but it was not a good experience in any way. Ashley did a beautiful job coloring my base and highlights. She is very talented, kind and her space is great. She takes her time, so plan for two hours minimum and her prices are as much as and even higher than the city but worth it! She was running around frantically getting ready, as I sat in the chair and watched. Very unprofessional. After expressing what I wanted with my hair, she promptly butchered it. She is so easy going with her appointment times its crazy, she's done my hair at 10pm... and more than happy to accommodate. Not only do I get a great color & cut, she gives the best scalp massage while my face is experiencing a warm towel of aromatherapy. My two high school sons & my daughter also love Ashley and will ONLY get their hair cut with her. We would follow Ashley anywhere, but Rebel Salon is located in the most convenient spot and the atmosphere of the salon is on point... you have to see for yourself. Very cool. read more

I HATE HAIRCUTS! My girlfriend scheduled this appointment for me because she saw a coupon online. I was pleasantly surprised by the "Rebel" atmosphere and vibe. She took more time on my hair and the experience than anyone else ever had. Very impressed by everything.
