Nothing wrong with the record player, the owner just said some players can't handle the weight of some records and therefore won't play. He was absolutely unwilling to work with us even though it was completely unusable to us. We had to sell it back to him for $10 less than we bought it for so he made a free $10 and has another PERFECTLY good record to sell. Shitty customer service especially considering the record we wanted to exchange for it was $12 more lmao. Could have made money and kept a customer.

Like most other shops in the area, this is now as much, if not more, head shop than actual music shop. Smattering of CDs, some vinyl, and a lot of stuff more relative to a head shop. You have to go inside and up a set of stairs, then down the hall to Comic Junction's suite. It's very low grade and nothing at all fabulous so it's easy to feel like you're in the wrong place. But what Comic Junction lacks in visual appeal it makes up for in the many different comics and knick knacks it sells, and the super sweet owner. He is totally a big comic nerd and it was awesome. I had so much fun looking through everything and chatting with him about some different issues and hero's and such. He really lights up when you start talking comics- you can just see how much he loves everything comics and his passion and enthusiasm for what he does. He's in the right business, that's for sure. And definitely check out the extremely special edition comics he keeps behind the register- sooo uber cool. Like I said, my inner nerd really showed out here. Luckily there were a lot of things that grabbed their interest as well. So many items in this store reminded me of my childhood, and my mom and grandma's clothing style. They were sooo cool and I was just a fat little scrappy kid. Browsing the collection at Revolver and picking out whatever I wanted made me feel like I was giving my younger self a high five. Everything was fairly priced too! To me, these items are worth double than what I paid but I appreciate not getting gouged, as I've come to expect in really awesome vintage stores. The owner was incredibly rude, condescending, belittling and acted with a "better than you" attitude. Its a BOOKSTORE, not her own personal sacred library collection. Great stock levels of things that are hard to find in brick and mortar stores these days. Not just GW and collectible card games, this place has a very broad selection. Also great supply of paints, dice, you name it. The staff are hit or miss. But that is to be expected, especially in this economy.
