This is a massive airport so it can get hectic when departing airport. These three brands share an…read moreoffsite location. There is NO signage for their shuttle so follow your instructions on the reservation. The pick up is just on the outside edge of the train station which is easy if you're coming from a train from Madrid. You really could walk it's so close but I don't recommend it. The rental center is in a dumpy retail Plex of lots of car related shops. Check out is meticulous as the host guides you through everything, so kind and friendly (though they hold their QC measurement tools to highlight any damage). I'm not used to such scrutiny as a frequent rental but it might be just things are done in Spain. Returning the car was easy, again super friendly concierge checked us out and confirmed my deposit refund. Shuttle driver was expeditious and respectful. My car was clean, low mileage, new tires, not much room for luggage but that's a given. I love the tiny European cars as it was much easier to navigate the Sun Coast of Spain and few tourist destinations with ease.
