One detail I like, compared to other acupuncturists, is that while you're resting with the needles in she covers you with one of those first-aid blankets that look like super-fine tinfoil, so you stay warm but the blanket is super super light and places no pressure at all on the needles. Also, she does this amazing thing at the end where she covers your entire back with a hot compress soaked in Chinese herbal tea. You might as well be at the spa. What more can I say? Great stuff!

I wish my experience would be better, but it is not. I came to Family Holistic Health 15 months…read moreago to find an alternative solution to my minor but annoying skin problem. Dermatologists failed to diagnose it and only prescribe me medicated shampoos which controlled but never treated the problem. I was assured by the Family Holistic Practitioner that their remedies have no side effects. The remedy looks like little granules made of unknown substance and the active ingredients are not disclosed to the patients. After the first remedy I had minor improvement along with side effect, where the capillaries on my shin bone were spilling under the skin and covered my legs with the big red patches. The second remedy did not show any improvement, but the side effect went away. A year later, a third remedy was offered to me. One of the warnings they tell you, is that during the treatment, if a remedy "works", an old symptom may arise. It does, and most likely it will be the worst one you ever had. I notified Dr. Cseak that an old and very scary symptom is showing up, but it was ignored. The symptom was developing and gradually getting worse over the course of three weeks covering my face and throat with the red itchy burning agitated patches. I had only a two day short improvement from all symptoms, and that's about it. Dr. Cseak instructed me to take another doze of remedy, and then IT came back, the nightmare of my daily life I went through 4 years ago. My eyes swelled up and my face and neck were on fire! It acted as if a severe allergic reaction to something very bad. I had to go to the Emergency room for a Benadryl injection, but it never helped. As a matter of fact, none of the antihistamines ever helped, only Prednisone can put it down. It actually appears that I have an autoimmune problem, and a REMEDY TOTALLY TRIGGERED IT! The sad part is that when I came to Dr. Cseak's office to show her my "beautiful" face, she could not say anything other than: "Sometimes I just cannot help some people"... SERIOUSLY? After 15 months of treatment, hundreds of dollars spent, 3 different remedies and warnings about a bad old symptom showing up, I was left with just these words??? I guess, that's what I should start telling to my clients from now on if their problems are beyond my knowledge and expertise. I wish my experience would be a better one, but it is not.

I was rear ended in a car wreck and went to Dr. Dicesaro for treatment. I have many great things…read moreto say about my experience with his practice. The Doctor was professional and thorough with his work - he seemed genuinely concerned to get my back in the best possible shape. There were a few things I didn't really care for at first. For example, he's a big fan of using something called "stim" which is hooking patches up to your back and sending an electrical signal causing the muscle to contract. The first two or three times it felt pretty uncomfortable, but I got used to it...and my back muscles felt more relaxed after the treatment. I've been going to Chiropractors since I was 7, but one thing that was uniquely different about Dr. Dicesaro's practice is that he has a whole physical fitness component to his treatment program. The physical trainer, Shawn, was awesome to work with and taught me a lot of great ways to work my core muscles. I still do the core workouts at home:) The only have two negative things to say...and they're not that negative. 1.) I thought that his price was too high. Mind you the insurance paid everything, so in my experience I didn't care. I remember back in the day my old Chiropractor charged $20 out of pocket for treatment. Dr. Dicesaro charges $40. The prices of everything have gone up, so I can't really blame him. He does good work, I just have to admit that the price chases me away from going more frequently. 2.) This is true of every single Chriopractor I've ever encountered; he tries to get you to visit his office ALL THE TIME! It seems that they want you to visit them twice a week on a regular basis. It's just not practical for anyone who has a life to do this. Bottom line though is that if you are in need of an adjustment or have a more serious issue with your spine and need treatment, I would strongly recommend Dr. Dicesaro. He's awesome!
