Went crabbing 2x in the 3 weeks. Each time, caught 1/2 bushel of crabs w/n 2 hrs. Some nice and fat crabs. They're the *best* tasting crabs I've ever had, sweet & tender. I borrowed their kayak for 2 hrs, bought 2 crab lines & a net & fish for bait which they sell here--all reasonably priced. We rented a pontoon for the purpose of crabbing. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Pontoon was very clean, and the staff were very accommodating. They even had carts to help us carry everything down to the pier. We rented a crabbing boat on Father's Day to spend the day in Red Bank. We were able to get a boat right away at 11am and had it until 4pm. Staff was great in telling up how the boat works , where to crab etc. During our trip, our motor stopped functioning . We were able to get back to the marina and the staff looked at it and discovered we got tangled with a cloth / t- shirt. They quickly cut it free and let us go back out. Staff was great , friendly and really enjoy what they do! read more

The cashier/boss? is terrible! We waited there for a long time and according to the staff and what we saw, there were still three row boats available to rent. However, this man (cashier/boss) told us no boat available. We argued that "you still have three boats available sir, check there(just out of his window)" just want to remind him in case he forgot to count. BUT, he yelled us back that " don't tell me how many boats I have" "I say no boat is no boat"1st, it's not the right attitude to customer; 2nd, If you explain to us the reasons why we cannot rent those boats, we may accept and probably that's just not our day. Decent place to to rent a boat and go crabbing. Only thing is there is construction all around the marina so you'll think there's no way to get to the marina. Also they open at 7 which is kinda late. We rented a motor boat for 8 hours and caught 70 blue claws. read more

My husband and I went to Red Bank Marina to rent a row boat and go crabbing. Boat had a top to shade us. Location was perfect as there was not much rowing required. In less then two hours we could a dozen and a half blue claw crabs. Could not have been easier. Will go again with grandkids. read more

My husband went today Thursday 08/01/2019 at 10:30am with my two kids 7 and 10. It was their first time crabbing and it went great. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. The boat he rented had a Bimini top and seemed to be in great condition. Store had everything you need and a nice clean Bathroom. He did say people need to understand you are there to Crab and make memories with your family and friends, not for the scenery or crystal clear water. He Highly recommends Red Bank Marina. read more

I wish no stars was an option. Planned a nice day out. The Red Bank Marina provided me with an image of a nice updated boat. I went on board and the boat had ripped and torn seats, tape and rope closing the front door. Even though I was skeptical I didn't want to ruin the day and not take a boat ride. Boat was slow.The next day the owner Steve called me and accuses my family of being drunk. Which is unfounded false accusations.Then we called back and spoke with Tabitha who is rude and calling me a liar. Making additional false accusations of us breaking the boat. I refused to be scammed by them. They want me to fix there outdated boat.They should be ashamed of themselves renters be weary. And now they are claiming defamation. They accused my family of being drunk and called me a liar. These accusations are false. You should update your policies to allow inspection to be in writing same as when renting a car. Was recommended to call here, trying to set up a birthday outing. Called to ask for the pricing for a rental to go out fishing and asked what options they had and what the price would be in the clearest English you could hear. Response from the staff: Confused and rude "wait what are you trying to do. Answers with price. Hangs up. Doesn't even give me a chance to ask further question. This was the absolute worst experience my family and I have ever had. We brought out of town friends here for a pontoon rental- the boat was absolutely disgusting and unsanitary and NONE OF THE GEARS OR FUNCTIONS WORKED- including the gas meter, depth meter, radio, speedometer, NOTHING THAT INVOLVED ELECTRICITY WORKED!!! First off never go to this place for a boat rental. Spend the extra money for a decent boat. About 30 minutes into our trip we had a rope get wrapped around our motor and we needed assistance about a quarter mile away from the docks. Accidents happen right? We called the front desk and the spoiled brat kid working behind the desk answering the phone would only tell us how we didn't know anything about boating and that it was our fault blah blah blah... we requested help and he said someone would come get us. About an hour and a half later we called back and basically said if you don't send help were ditching the boat and walking back. He said they sent help but looked for a few minutes and couldn't find us. Did not bother calling us back. We had 2 out of the 4 of us ditch the boat and get a ride back to the marina and my friend had to guide one of the workers to us. The kid behind the desk was really the worst part of this experience please take your business else In reply to the owners response: We were not told anything about tides or which direction to go. Dont listen to these people! We did not just ditch the boat at a random house. We were stuck there, called the company to help us, nobody showed after an hour, THEN we sent 2 from our party back to the marina and the guy at the desk said they came looking for us but turned back because they couldnt find us. No phone call or anything to try and locate us. And now you have the audacity to lie and try and make your cheap business look better. read more

My Dad and my 3 daughters went to the Red Bank Marina yesterday. I must say that the experience was the best I've had catching crabs in a long time. My Dad took us kids back in the 60s took Waretown to crab. Now, thanks to Red Bank Marina, I was able to give my daughters that same experience. We had a lot of fun catching them through the cages and drop line. We caught over a bushel in just a few hours out on the water! Thanks Red Bank!! The crew is very helpful and the management is top notch!! Definitely going back in a couple of weeks before the end of the season. read more
