After shorting Rebecca's check $15, we got a call in transit to our destination demanding we come back to care for our own pets due to error in shorting her. We didn't hear the message till after we set up and were horrified to find she had abandoned the pets despite the repeated messages on her cell and after discovering her home phone trying to reason with her while she yelled at me saying it was my problem. Dr Offutt approaches each of our pets individually. He is careful to treat the older ones minimally unless aggressive medication is necessary, and the are great to have our dogs' records and vaccinations up to date every year. Dr Offutt doesn't push the food or vaccinations of the month like some vets do. I appreciate that, not judging the others. He's given us lots of good advice and recommendations for the dogs individual quirks and health conditions. They saved Enzo's life from a bad bout of pancreatitis here and have helped him have such a higher quality of life that I feel a loyalty to them. We moved from across the state where we enjoyed a great relationship with the vet and it's been a real relief to find Dr Offutt. All I hear from other customers and patients is respect and gratitude. Hour 4 called another hour...hour 5 called they said another 1/2 hour by that time I was already driving there as in screw this is ridiculous a dog at a groomer for 51/2 hours Walked in asked for my pup 10 minutes later... now we're going into hour 6.. oh we need to wash his feet He had an accident wtheck I then asked after being here over 5 hours do you take them out to go to the bathroom? She said they did well... Why is my pup crapping himself and have on his paws?!? They now need to rewash his paws that now adding another 10 minutes ans of course he's like let's gooooooo I take him outside before we get into car I let him go to the bathroom He LITERALLY peed for 5 minutes.. no joke!!! I'm thinking you actually don't take them Out to go pee and WHY?!? Is this some kind of factory assembly line WHY does it take a dog 51/2 hours to get groomed?!?!?! Then I put him in the car he drank a bowl and a half of water... a large bowl I say abuse in the highest form... APPALLING!! I will never EVER bring my pups there and anyone who does is crazy!! I've had my pups groomed since I got them When they were puppies they are both now 9 and it's NEVER taken this amount of time to have them taken care of and not even quality grooming and btw when he got in the car I was petting him ( some comfort after all that crap) no pun intended and hair was coming off him like crazy in my hands... after 6 hrs he should have been flawless!! I can tell you that my dog has "scolded" me in the past when I picked him up from other places where they probably didn't treat him well. He would share his distress with high pitched screeching and would pull to leave as quickly as possible. Today, when I picked up my dog, he was very happy to see me but was not freaking out to leave as fast as he could. The staff here genuinely love dogs and provide awesome care. When we got home, my aging dog was wanting to play fetch and had a renewed interest in his stuffed toys which made me think that they were playing with him to make sure he was stimulated during his stay. My dog is testy about meeting new dogs and doesn't do well in dog parks, so I was trepidatious about bringing her to a kennel-free day care, but the staff are all pro. Cookie gets to hang out in the "sweet old ladies' club," with other calm older dogs who won't tackle or harass her. She is relaxed and happy hanging out here and is eager to head through the door in the mornings. The team here does a great job of keeping dogs engaged with just the right kind of company for them: young, rowdy dogs get to tear around the yard and bodyslam each other all day long until they go home filthy, exhausted, and happy; meanwhile low-key, chill dogs get to nap in the shade and cuddle with the staff.

When the vet came in our dog didn't like the vet from that moment. My daughter offered to muzzle him. They refused. The vet never even looked at our dogs infection. Prescribed some medication and the meds didn't work. So my daughter called in to see if the vet could prescribe some prednisone which has worked for our dogs particular infection for the past 8 years. I went in today to pick up the prescription and the vet was angry when he walked in the room. He made me wait over an hour to tell me to take my dog to another clinic. He was angry that my daughter had asked him to write a prescription to take to the pharmacy. She doesn't have a lot of income and needed the least expensive pills and they are cheaper at a pharmacy. Then he was angry that our vet in another state was able to clear up the infection and told me to take him back 2700 miles to our old vet because he must walk on water. Mind you, I was only there to pick up a prescription. Our dog is almost 8 years old and is so miserable he will hardly move. I asked offut if he was willing to let the dog suffer? And he told me yes that is what he was telling me. I honestly wasn't there the first visit and was only there because I thought I was picking up a prescription. And he totally turned his anger on me. I couldn't believe this was the same person people were raving about in the reviews. He said my daughter doesn't have a veterinarian degree. No she doesn't, but she does know her dog and knows what has worked for the past 8 years. Do yourself a favor and go two doors down to the friends and family vet! Anyone would be better.
