four glasses of beer on a table

This is my go-to brewery in Kelowna. They offer an extensive beer and food menu which lots to choose from including non beer items and gluten free items. The inside space is more of a common table experience with lots of seating and the outside space is both covered and patio seating where you can bring your dogs. The pizza was a bit too cheesy for my liking but that's likely because we came here on a busy Friday evening. It was hard to find room for 4 people to sit next to each other but I did notice that they do take reservations. We ended up finding a space which wasn't undercover and was quite cold (they didn't have a heater nearby).

Casual industrial ambience. Popped in for a quick taster flight before lunch and wish their kitchen were open earlier (opens by 3pm on weekdays) so we could've continued indulging! I had a cider flight with a porter stowaway and loved everything. The ciders are not made in house, but are all made locally. They were all light and bright, with the cherry rosé being slightly drier/more tart than the peach and pear. The spiced harvest apple cider was deliciously sweet, if tasted like an ape pie! Lastly, the Paramount Porter was toasty and dark, the perfect beverage to carry us into fall. Would definitely recommend, I only wish their kitchen were open as early as the brewery so you could snack when enjoying your beverage.

I had been wanting to go to Red Bird since I first heard about Kelowna's brewery district earlier this year. Finally, on my third visit this year, last week, I got to go. It's a cool little spot and so is the neighbourhood, right near Kettle River. I was a little underwhelmed inside and expected to see a bit more for some reason. They have a nice patio outside and a food truck (though I didn't get any food). We had a flight - the stout was a good, solid stout; one of them I found a bit sweet.. I'm not sure, for some reason I was underwhelmed even though they have a bigger selection than Kettle River. Heard it's a cool place to bring board games and play but anyways, I'm not really sure how I feel about Red Bird overall.. didn't think it was amazing.. Maybe I'll have to re-test the waters on another visit out to the Okanagan.

Such a cool vibe at Red Bird Brewing. The drinks are good and the food is amazing. Definitely will be back again! The patio is huge too.

this place has the best live music in town. I love the atmosphere and the music culture that has been created at this brewery.

Kettle River Brewing and Provisions Catering have partnered together to create a local brewing and food experience that is amplified by its great service (thanks Haida and Ben) and amazing decor. Chris and Russ feature local art, and one of the artists is the aforementioned Ben (Ben Arcega). His stylized 3x4 foot portraits are the reason I chose the seat at my table. I wanted to see them more! And Provisions Catering?!? Wow! If anyone knows Bruce Draper (and I do because he is my husband) you know he is a student of food. He is not easily blown away. Jake and Chris' calamari dish left Bruce dazzled. He is still talking about it and we are already home. The burgers were delicious, the home fries and homemade sauce were memorable. We asked for seconds. We wanted thirds. Thank you to the creative and skilled forces behind Kettle River Brewing Co. and Provisions Catering. As I finish writing, Bruce is still raving. He is talking about who he will bring there on our next night out. Anyone want to join us?! @kettleriverbrew @provisionsatkettle @benarcega

You order your food at the counter, pick it up yourself, and grab your own cutlery and water. I'd definitely skip the food, though. The portions were surprisingly small for the price. We ordered chicken wings, which weren't typical wings, a cider, and one entrée, and the total was $75. For the portion sizes and self-service setup, it felt VERY overpriced. There's also no kids' menu.
