From the very beginning the entire process with Mark was seamless. Due to COVID 19 our wedding day got postponed on two separate occasions but this was not a problem at all. He accommodated our new date and made the changes easy. From initial emails and calls, to our online chat before the big day, Mark was fantastic at communicating. He took any stress away, made us feel at ease and even took the time to get to know our love story, wedding party and guests so he could make references throughout the night - we knew we were in safe hands! As obvious, we wanted The Best wedding and we started planning since March 2010. Because we had seen Sanjay Foods' services in the past and experienced the quality of their food, we always wanted to book them for our very special day. Being honest, they might be slightly expensive than other caterers in the market but I guess, what you pay is what you get! Whilst searching around for many different quotes, one of the caterers asked me to go and see him in an Indian sweets shop! I assumed that the shop must be owned by him but when I found out that it was just a random shop with couple of chairs and a table outside, oh my god and on top of that he was trying to convince me to hire his company and I tell you what, I would have rather got the food from McDonald's or Burger King!! LOL Anyway, when we contacted Atulbhai to discuss the quote, he was very professional and kindly invited us with our family for food tasting. Seriously, on the day after food tasting, we didn't even have dinner at home! The food was absolutely delicious and service was just a top notch! He was also very open to all of our feedback and I was very pleased with the way he dealt with my one negative feedback. To be honest it wasn't even a negative feedback but me just looking to criticize on something and I mentioned that all of the samosa should look exactly the same colour. I don't want some light, medium or extra brown! when I mentioned that my wife just gave me that look and I knew I was going to be in trouble! LOL Even thou, picking on little thing like that, Atulbhai took it very seriously and gave me a compliment for being honest and he also assured me that on our wedding day it will be all the same! Come on, you know that cooking over one thousand handmade samosa and to get them all fried same colour, it's next to impossible but trust me, they were not far away! Through out the period of prior to the wedding, his highly classed appointed Event Manager Lai-yee Chung dealt with all of our queries. What sort of customer service would you expect from 7 star hotels in Dubai? She raised the highest standards and it would take very long time for someone else to meet those standards. Not only that she dealt with their business related queries but she involved Atulbhai (where needed) and also built a strong business relationship with Hira (Athena venue manager) and planned the whole day's itinerary for us. The week before the wedding, I even knew exactly what time I had to place the mangal sutra or kanku on! (Indian wedding traditional material) LOL We must say that as everything that had planned and promised, they delivered on the day to very high standards. Amount of positive feedback we received from our family and friends about the delicious food, waiting staff and management, it was truly unbelievable. We were so happy to hear lovely good comments about our wedding from our near and dear ones and all the thanks would go to Sanjay Foods. Considering it was overnight, entertainment, security (any problems staff there all night), butlers and just bring own drinks they made them into yummy cocktails and snacks it was really cheap and I think better than the Dreamboys!
