I visited around Halloween, and the ambiance was lovely. The place was decorated with pumpkins, and the staff wore costumes. However, there was quite a wait to order because our server was attending to a large party, which caused some delays in service. Once we finally placed our orders, there was a miscommunication regarding our drinks. My friend had initially decided to wait to order a drink, but the server brought one anyway, and she didn't like it. I ordered the seafood quesadillas, while everyone else ordered fajitas and a bowl. The wait staff was wonderful on our recent visit. We sat in the bar area and I wanted to watch both baseball and a local football game. They were very accommodating and quickly changed the channels for me. Our server was friendly and carried on just the right amount of conversation regarding the games. We ordered the combination fajitas (steak and chicken) for two for $19.65. They came out sizzling hot with a lot of steak and chicken. The meat was seasoned nicely. For sides, you get rice, beans (black or refried), lettuce, tomato, sour cream, and guacamole. My wife and I each received a side plate and it was more than ample. We had left overs to take home for the next day. It was a good value in our opinion. For drinks we ordered the Tropical Margarita, which was the daily special. It had small chunks of pineapple in the glass. I found the drink a little too sweet but my wife enjoyed it. I've had their regular house margarita on other occasions and really like it. They do not skimp on the alcohol and more than one can pack a punch. Very good! This Red Habanero is well worth a visit. Give it a try and, if you like the food and its a location (Hwy 32 and Cary Road) you will frequent, consider buying one of their T-shirts. If you buy a T-shirt for $5.99 and bring it with you each time you visit, you get a free queso with a menu purchase. The queso is the regular white dip that is found at a lot of restaurants, but we like it. We always try and save some for when our dinner arrives so we can put it on our fajitas, burritos, etc. The queso per the menu is $5.49 so, as mentioned, buying the T-shirt is a good deal if you are a frequent or returning customer and like white queso. read more

Do not use their web site if you want your food order prepared correctly and on time. We've used their website to place online orders before and today, thinking we were not giving the food delivery services 30% of the value of our order however for the 2nd time in a short span we went to pick up our order only to discover it wasn't ready when promised. Today, after a 30 minute wait my husband talked to the "owner" who didn't provide his name and no apologies for the delayed order but did disclose that they put in restaurant and call in orders ahead of any other online orders, including Chow Now which is on their website! Waiting for a pickup order at their locations is often a very unpleasant experience because you have to keep dodging people walking in and you always get that - what's that dasher standing in my way - side eye from other patrons! This is all to say.... I just don't think I want to continue ordering either online or dining in with this business that puts your order to the end of the line just because you used the only online ordering service THEY offer. The waitress brought us chips and salsa and was patient with us while we reviewed their menu. I ordered the The Habanero Enchiladas which is a combination of 3 enchiladas - 1 beef, 1 chicken and 1 steak smothered with red ranchero and queso sauce. It only took a few minutes for our food to be delivered to the our table which was greatly appreciated.
