I came here with my coworker for dinner on friday and the restaurant was completely full with groups celebrating x-mas, even if it was just a first week of December. Food was OK but most main dishes were indian/asian food. There are salad bar, fried appetizers and ribs and pizza (not very good). You can get pasta-made-to-order. Dessert bar has a few kinds of cakes and various kinds of ice-cream. I thought most indian dishes and one chicken thai curry dish are better than other dishes. So, I'm not sure if this is good if you are looking for a good variety of western food.. For normal price at 13 pounds, it was OK but I paid 25.50 pounds for same menu as other season just because it was December. It's not worth 25.50 pounds, especially drinks are not included. Friendly service.

Having…read moreexperienced better buffets, I was disappointed by the food quality--the meats were tough and overly salty, the salt and pepper prawns were similarly tough and over-seasoned with salt, and the fried rice was undercooked. Many of the sauced dishes relied too heavily on salt, and the dessert station was underwhelming. At £20 per person--without drinks included--the experience fell short of expectations. While they do offer a variety of Asian-inspired dishes, they need to realize that salt and pepper aren't the only seasonings available. As for those who thoroughly enjoyed it... bless them, but I know better. I won't be returning although the service was good.

She barely ate, yet we were billed as if she were an additional grown child. This policy feels unfair and very misleading, especially for families with toddlers who are taller than the average height. If this is their rule, it should be clearly communicated before when making a table booking. The lack of flexibility and empathy when we asked about it sealed the deal. Families with young kids should be aware as I was very very disappointed by the way we was treated because of that rule.

The Red Hot Buffet follows the usual buffet style, but is unusual in that it has a wider range of…read morefoods: Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Italian, Indian and Mexican! The restaurant floor is large, and the place is often fairly busy but not full. The waiter takes you to your table and takes your drinks order: you then go and help yourself to the food at the buffets. The food range is, as you would expect from the countries listed, large: Starters include: spring rolls, crab claws, chicken wings, crispy duck, samosas, chicken tikka, sheikh kebab, pakora, onion bhaji, pizza, nachos, tortillas, potato wedges. Mains include: sushi, salads, breads, Thai curry, sweet & sour pork, beef with black bean sauce, mussels in wine, Cajun chicken, chips, chilli, chicken tikka masala, lamb rogan josh, naan bread, assorted rice and noodle dishes. In addition to pre-cooked dishes in large tureens and chill cabinets, there are some live counters where you can have some food freshly cooked including pasta, noodle and Chinese dishes. For puddings there are a large selection of fruits, cakes, ice cream, mousses and even a chocolate fountain and a range of sweets (candies). The range of dishes available is huge, bigger than I have seen anywhere else, and perhaps because of this the quality of the dishes is rather variable: some dished were good, but some rather disappointing. Some of the hot dishes were not very warm which is worrying, but we didn't suffer any food poisoning consequences so perhaps I am over-cautious. I suspect if you go often you will get used to which are your favourite dishes and avoid the more disappointing ones. The pricing is good value at around £13-15 per head depending on the time and day. Drink prices are fairly typical for a restaurant. The venue is in the middle of the theatre district, so parking is widespread but mostly chargeable. Recommended, but choose with care.

There's always plenty on offer and the dishes are rapidly refilled. The ambience isn't great, as they pack a lot of people into a small space. It's somewhere to go fun with friends or family, rather than an intimate tête-a-tête. Service is very good. While you get your food yourself, the staff are there to quickly whip away finished plates, offer your drinks, and sort out the bill. It's very popular, so booking ahead is always advisable. Oh, and if you're there for an evening sitting, leave room for the walnut and chocolate brownies. They're fantastic.

Have eaten here several times and the food has been really good, they do all sorts, burgers, sandwichs, sausage and mash, salads, fajitas, etc, all really nice food and price is ok. Good service (ive never seen it rammed in here!) and the place is modern, airy and light, like the decor, although it can feel a bit empty at times, i guess thats just the lack of visitors! If you are over the grafton and going to the cinema, instead of opting for chillis why not try this place, you'll probably get served quicker and the food is of better quality.
