This guy turned 60 and the commercials for red lobster drove me mad. I fell for the lobster with a skewered split lobster tail with a scallops added. Baked potato with all the things and steamed broccoli. My Wife had lobster and steak. My Mother In Law whose Birthday is a few days before mine had prawns. My niece had never been to R.L. she had snow crab for the first time and after a tutorial on how to get the meat out, made a mess but enjoyed every bite. I love Lobster Fest. I saw 1 commercial like a month ago and was hooked. I knew what I was going to order just by what the commercial advertised. I got exactly what was advertised. A lobster tail with a split lobster tail, so 2 lobsters, a baked potato with everything and extra sour cream and steamed broccoli. I ate the veg first, I knew I'd never look back after lobster hit my taste buds. I loved both the potato and the perfectly cooked broccoli. The scallops were also delicious. How could they not be? I dipped them both in drawn butter! I could have eaten another dozen scallops. They were yummy. The lobster... the lobsters. Oh yah. So good. Every bite cooked right and dipped in butter. I thought about getting a second dinner but held back. It's technically a good thing I did because the birthday guy had 4 maybe 5 Margheritas. Don't ask what kind. There were 3 different one's and the rim got confused at the bar and a bar manager, then the waitress from another table..... in the end, I got a free margarita! There wasn't a lot of talking during dinner because we all got serious when the food came out. My Wife gave me a bite of her steak. I almost ordered that same thing. My niece destroyed her snow crab and loved every bite. The birthday duo got free ice cream and a song. The song was fun but the ice cream.... After lobsters and margaritas I was full. I got my Wife to help me eat my ice cream but my tiny Mother In Law kept saying I can't eat all this, "I'm Full." She said that a couple times. She also said, "I'm full" after she ate all her ice cream. lol read more

I just want to update my review by adding how much I like their strawberry cheesecake. It is very light and not too sweet. The portion is also quite large. It is perfect to share with someone. read more

We decided to go to Red Lobster the day BEFORE Valentine's Day. While waiting in the lobby to be seated, we learned that was a good idea. We overheard many callers being told that the restaurant was already booked for Valentine's Day and that no more reservations were being taken. A lesson to be remembered. We shared a Lobster Lobster spinach & artichoke dip, 3-cheese blend with tortilla chips, and salsa. Yummy. I ordered the Lobster topped baked potato, and of course the meal came with their famous biscuits. Even though it was very good, I was disappointed because it seem to have half-the size less than the photo. I did pointed it out to our waiter, and showed him the 'before' and 'after photo' to compare what I'm talking about. He said: 'they weighed them'. DH on the other hand ordered the Create Your Own Lobster Feast. He had a Maine Lobster Tail, Grilled Sirloin steak, Shrimp Alfredo, and coconut shrimp, with coleslaw and a baked potato on the side. I augmented my baked potato with bites from DH's plate. With all the times this restaurant has created these dishes, you would expect them to be very good - and they were! We came over for lunch on Monday. Ordered the Southwest shrimp bowl and Shrimp your way 2. The Shrimp your way you can choose 2 different options of shrimp with side. My sister ordered shrimp scampi and shrimp linguine Alfredo with rice as side. The cheddar bay biscuits came out quickly. Very hot. Our lunch came out soon after. It wasn't too busy at lunch. Chain restaurants get a bad rap, oftentimes deservedly so. But for this Red Lobster, the current 3.3 Yelp rating is way too low in my opinion. We've carried out here before but this was our 1st dine in experience here and it was well worth it. Nice ambiance for a Red Lobster which means nautical-themed and a little dimly lit. Plenty of booths but also a small bar seating area if you need sports on TV. The best, I mean best waitress We've had in years. Friendly without being fake nor forced. Helpful about the menu and about new technology ( yes, they now have touchless pay stations at the table). I felt I was at a family dinner being served by my tech-savvy sister. The other servers were great too. My wife had the daily special: one pound of snow crab ($24) that had 2 "hands" of crab legs. The little that she offered me was very good dipped in the ramekin filled with garlic butter. Of course several famous cheesy garlic biscuits were served at the start of our meal. I ordered the limited time endless shrimp special ($20) and proceeded to devour maybe 3 dozen! They had 7 different styles to choose but my favorite was the grilled skewers, juicy and cooked to perfection. The scampi and coconut offerings were good also-rans. Shrimp size ranged from 45 CT. in the Alfredo to 15 CT. for the butterflied options (Rangoon & coconut). I had no hesitation in asking for more and the staff were not hesitant in bringing out more. I rarely write reviews but wanted to as we had an exceptional experience. We (my dad, 99, uses a walker) and myself arrived 10 minutes before opening. We waited for about 3 minutes before the manager came over and let us in. It was cold and rainy so we were very thankful. Our server was quick and friendly and polite. She apologized for the wait we would have for coffee as they had just started brewing. Again, we were early so we were fine with waiting. We hardly had to wait at all. I ordered a mixed shrimp meal, one of which was cocoanut shrimp. After our server put in our order, the manager came to our table to say they were out of the pina colada sauce but I could have mango sauce. It was delicious! Our server also apologized for them not having sauce. So the service was above and beyond. Our server brought extra butter, napkins, and sugar. And I love that RL serves baked potatoes all day! My dad had the shrimp with lemon pepper sauce and Cole slaw and he cleaned his plate. I over-ordered and had enough take home for dinner last night and lunch today. We were good ve a Red Lobster gift card for Christmas of 2023. And we mostly go inside to eat. Nice comfortable service is great. Every time we go in we get excellent service. Ventured in with Mom for her to enjoy a restaurant meal for her birthday. It was a quiet night with just a few other diners within. The server did an ok job, however I didn't see any of the servers wearing masks as the restaurant info here states. Unfortunately, I did feel as though the server talked too loudly & listening to his conversation with the diners in the next booth before their departure was not anything I wanted to hear- loudly. The drink Mom ordered from the bar was weak & watered down she said. As for the meal, we both had the Create Your Own Holiday trio & whew! - it did not disappoint! I had a Cesar salad to start, but the cheddar bay biscuits very promptly brought to the table (no butter provided) were dry :( As for our Lobster tails- well, to begin with the lobster meat had not been "lifted" from the shell, so I had to do that first & not too easily done; it's a good thing the lobster was not steaming hot, but by the time I got to eat some, it was barely warm & was chewy from overcooking. :( The Coconut Shrimp was delightful! :) The baked potato & Shrimp Alfredo linguini was good! :) There was soooo much food! Yes, take home leftovers were necessary. I went here for a work holiday event, and it is pretty telling when most of dialog afterwards is about "how great the biscuits were" (and they really weren't that great). Shockingly, the service we received was far better than most places, especially considering that we had a table of 11 people. This gave it an extra star on the rating. Are food was good what we got, but we waited way to long for it. We were a party of 5. Our total bill was 184.00. We had three that got all you can it. Ordered seconds but never got. We were there for two hours. They finally told them to pack up our seconds. So they did but the totally wrong that we didn't get it. The manager that we called out not 1 but two times. I have been to this Red Lobster over a decade ago. I went with a former friend (he's deceased) who wanted a To Go order of Cheddar Bay Biscuits. I waited with him while his order was packed. Recently Schmoopie wanted to have an alternative to the regular dinner that he usually orders at a different restaurant. He ordered the Three Shrimp Combination. He likes that dinner or meal. I ordered the Crab Stuffed Flounder. It's listed in the menu as "Stuffed Flounder." The server did a good job. There was another person who asked me if I wanted a refill before my glass was empty. I told that person no... because refills aren't complimentary on half cranberry half pineapple juice. There isn't a full bar. I didn't ask if there was grapefruit juice... but maybe next time I will. There was plenty of seats at the bar (which is 21 years and older only). There weren't any little kids that I could see inside this Red Lobster... maybe they were in a different section though. When it was time to pay the bill on the device sitting on the table... I had to alert the server that there was an error. There was another table's drinks and meals on the display or tablet part. She swiped her card (probably an employee override card) and the correct items were displayed. Schmoopie and I paid... the light was green... and we left. I asked for a box for the rest of my meal. I didn't touch the coleslaw (which was one of the sides I ordered with my entree). I boxed up two of Schmoopie's garlic shrimp as well. Schmoopie and I noticed that some of the pictures and flags were still up from when I was inside this Red Lobster over a decade ago. I think it was about 2005 or so when I was first inside this Red Lobster. There were four Asian women who left before Schmoopie and myself. One of the elderly Asian women touched some of the red leaves on the poinsettia plant that was near the server's station in the middle of the restaurant. After a larger group left the section that Schmoopie and I were seated in... the restaurant wasn't loud. I've been coming here for years because this is one place a friend of mine loves to come. But we've also ordered take away when we've been nearby as well as having delivered since it's so far away. When we dine in we've always had good service, prompt and friendly, even when you go in during an unlimited deal. They've been pretty clear with wait times. Pick up and delivery have also gone pretty much as expected. The delivery fee is reasonable too. Food has always been consistent and never had any complaints. We order everything from classics to specials, sides and kids meals. We've never had a mistake on an order and the portions are well worth the price. And yea, there's always plenty of biscuits. Personally I think they're good, but either our fascination with slightly different biscuits has faded or they're different somehow. I just don't think anyone is as enraptured as they used to be, but they're still good. Even with eating at home the temperatures have always been fine and crispy items still have crisp. Plus of course they also have a loyalty program, which is always a nice feature. So I'll continue to come here for the consistent food and service. read more

I knew I would regret this visit but my son saw a RL commercial and wanted to try it while on Xmas break. We went on NYE for lunch and was seated immediately. Our waitress was friendly and interacted with us just enough - checked on us and made sure we had what we ordered. While all that was great, the food was so-so. The biscuits seemed over seasoned (salty), the salad seemed premade and left in the fridge already dressed, and the shrimp was overcooked and flavorless. Even my kids said the brownie was too sweet! The parking lot usually has ample parking due to it being in a strip mall, the wait staff have been extremely courteous and professional as well as downright friendly, genuinely welcoming you to their establishment when you walk in. The food has always been fresh and the they will go out of their way to ensure you are happy with your experience as a whole The drinks, cookie cutter for a chain restaurant sure but damn good as well. I find a lot of value in this dining establishment and now that I do not love even anywhere near here, wish I would have visited even more often than I have. I will be back! read more

Checked on us multiple times. Very informative with his tables. They ran out of briskets for a little and he let the tables near us know what was going on and that it would be longer than normal. He brought over my refill as I finished my 1st tea. He was not the only one. We walked passed another server that was getting ready to take a large tables order. She turned and looked at us as we passed and said have a great night and thanks for visiting. Then when we passed the host stand she did the same. This was great human connection is still so important. Yes it's a chain but it was good quality and when you support a chain your still helping pay for the staff that lives locally! This review is for two part s of their online order system, and the restaurant itself for ease or convenience of picking up what I ordered online. I had tried just calling at first, but it was an automated answer and redirected me to downloading the app. I honestly didn't feel like downloading anything as I don't know what kind of information they are getting from me, but if you go online, they also say that on their website. The Grubhub app here on Yelp was faulty. It didn't show me all of my orders, but it was charging me for something that I couldn't see. I know, it was weird, there was just a charge of $20 something that doesn't have a description of what it was, so after trying to figure that out for 5 minutes, I just gave up trying to order from Yelp. After ordering, I headed to the cart to pay online. Except you can't, unless it's more than $250. Why? It wasn't too big of a deal, really, just pay for it when you pick it up. It's just a little confusing as to why they would have anything against online payment, especially these Covid days. The food was good. I wasn't really hungry for anything but was hankering for their tasty tasty biscuits; plus I had already cooked dinner at home, so I just had the mushroom appetizer,and a dozen cheddar bay biscuit. It was both as good as if I had eaten at the restaurant itself. Upon picking up, the vibe was relaxed and unhurried. They had it ready in the time frame that they gave. The food quality has gone down unfortunately. I ordered the seaside trio and surprisingly it almost looked the same as pictured on the menus, which I know some restaurants don't do that. The pasta was warm not hot, mediocre flavor. The shrimp was small, well flavored. I was mostly disappointed in the Caesar salad that came with it. There was nothing but lettuce and croutons, definitely felt like a salad I would have on an airplane. I didn't finish my meal nor did I leave satisfied. We had a reservation for 20 people around 7:30PM. Once we got there the server confirmed again if it was 20 people. We said yes. They made us wait in their lobby for about 15 mins. The lobby was a little weird, they had lobster tank that looked pretty empty. The restaurant was not busy but we still had to wait for them to set up the table for us. I was surprised that they have happy hour weekdays only from 11am -6. It's not bad. Premium well drinks are $6 you get the fantastic biscuits. I had the lobster pizza which I most definitely will order again. I was the only one in the lounge area but there were a few people in the restaurant area.
