It wasn't a long drive from our hotel I liked how it was easy to spot and when we entered the building everything was very clean but the seats and table felt a little bit greasy, the food made up for that though. We came here on a Saturday night as a couple. It's nicely away from the action at Clifton Hill so we walked there and back (about 20 minutes each way) which was nice because we discovered the battlefield and museum along the way :) Even though RL was busy, we still got a table right away. Our server was very professional, although she seemed to raise an eyebrow when we ordered a litre of wine lol. The cheddar biscuits came right away, warm and delicious as always. For our mains we chose the Ultimate Feast, which you can tailor to your own tastes and the Bar Harbour Lobster Bake, which has so much more than lobster and comes on a bed of linguine. Both were huge plates that we enjoyed so much, even though we were tempted by the endless shrimp deal... we wanted to try it all! One of the worst dining experiences I've ever had, especially on Mother's Day, no less. (참고로 아래 한국어도 있어요. 꼭 읽어보세여!!!) I had a 7pm reservation today (5/8/25) for dinner with my mom and grandma to celebrate Mother's Day while visiting Niagara Falls. We were seated right by the front entrance, and every time the door opened, cold air blew in, and my grandma was clearly shivering from the cold. We politely asked our server if we could move to one of the many empty booths further inside, which she kindly went to check with the woman who seemed to be the manager. That's when everything turned horrible. The server looked visibly nervous asking the manager, which was already a red flag. The manager eventually allowed us to move, but not without making it abundantly clear how bothered she was. We thanked her multiple times, no response. Then she brought over our plates and, I kid you not, threw them onto our table. Not placed, not set, threw. The plates rattled and clattered from the force. It was shocking and incredibly rude. Keep in mind, this was meant to be a special dinner for Mother's Day. We had even told the server that when we were first seated. The food? It was okay. A bit salty, but not terrible. But the way we were treated? Unforgivable. I'm rarely one to bring this up, but I honestly left wondering: Was it because we're Asian? Would she have thrown plates at any other group celebrating a family occasion? It sure felt like we were being punished for asking to be moved out of the cold. Shame on you, whoever you are. We just finished a great dining experience at the Red Lobster in Niagara, Canada. Amazing team that is fully focused on customer service. The servers were not only working to make sure their tables received good service but I was really impressed with the way they would help each other out. We have always enjoyed the food at Red Lobsters over the years; however, I honestly believe the positive ambiance established by this team helped make our dining experience outstanding. I'm a big fan of Red Lobster, ever since they shuttered them down in Quebec years ago, I make it a point to eat here when I visit Ontario. We stayed a night in Niagara and although I was tempted by a lot of other chain restaurants in the region, I relied on Red Lobster for usually consistent food, familiarity, and the free parking. We dined around 6pm on Friday August 14, the place wasn't too full despite there being only half of the tables available for dine in. Due to covid, many sections of the restaurant are closed off and the menu is also limited. Instead of your usual booklet with dozens of pages, everything is now condensed into a single sheet. I opted for a shrimp trio dish, there was breaded shrimp, garlic butter shrimp and an alfredo linguine with shrimp which was excellent. It also came with a side of pilaf rice. Everything was to my liking. My partner got the jumbo coconut shrimp plate which came with two sides, unfortunately the green beans and mashed potatoes were lacking flavor. Totally underseasoned and bland. For something so simple, not sure how they screwed up. Service was speedy and courteous, not too much to complain about but I suppose it's hit or miss. Red Lobster is my birthday go-to every year! Even during the height of the pandemic, we ordered it in on the date. When I planned my mini birthday getaway to Niagara Falls, I knew Red Lobster would be birthday dinner. I've always ordered the Ultimate Feast, but was always a bit disappointed by feeling forced to order an extra shrimp scampi to sub for Walt's shrimp since I'm gluten-free. I've always been disappointed, too, that Red Lobster doesn't offer GF pasta because before I found out I had a gluten allergy, I would always order the snow crab alfredo pasta dish. They really need to get GF pasta...so many other restaurants have it. This year, I went on the website to order and saw they had some new dishes under the Classics category. I was able to get my three favourite dishes: lobster tail, snow crab legs and scallops. I did have to order two entrees, but it was my bday so I didn't care. I brought the leftovers home with me. I got the two lobster tail platter, which had a Caribbean lobster tail and one Cold Water Maritime tail. They had a separate order of snow crab legs, which was a huge portion. I ordered those two entrees and a side of bacon-wrapped scallops. Because there were two entrees, I was able to order fries, rice, lobster mashed potatoes and slaw. Lots of sides to take a couple of bites of and save for the next day. There were four cheese biscuits, which I used to love...shame on them for not offering these in a GF option. I eat GF full-time...it's not that hard. Everything was cooked perfectly. I got to eat all my favourites, even if it was a little pricey, but I don't count pennies on my birthday. I had tons of leftovers to bring home the next day. They did include lots of butter and a crab cracker in the plastic version, so everything was just perfect. I still won't eat out due to the Covid scare, but this was the best birthday dinner order-in I could imagine. We came here last weekend for dinner and although the food and service were as I expect from Red Lobster, the front of house staff left a lot to be desired. When I arrived, the girl at the front was busy chatting with a friend and completely ignored me. Not wanting to interrupt, I wait a minute to see if she was going to wrap up her conversation and actually start to work, when another couple walked through the door behind me. She looked past me and asked how many were in their party and that it would be a 10 -15 minute wait. At that point, I interrupted and pointed out that I had already been waiting. She roller her eyes and apologised to the couple that had just arrived. I'm sorry, what? Long story short, they were still seated before us. We didn't have to wait long but still, it's the principle of the thing. Our server, Craig was awesome though and despite having a large party seated right next to us, he never made us wait and was attentive throughout our meal. Good hearty family restaurant and ideal place for sea food lovers! It was my first time going to Red Lobster and definitely will not be my last. This popular restaurant chain seems to have locations everywhere but in Montreal - so being in Niagara, we had to go! We went on a Saturday evening so it was completely packed. There was a queue to get into the site parking alone and the car-park is very tight and not great so we parked elsewhere. Inside, there was a waiting time of about 15-20 minutes to get a table. From the waiting area, it did not look that big inside but when directed to our table, I noticed there are 3 / 4 large areas full of seating. The interior is cosy with low ceilings and a typical American family-restaurant type feel. We ordered the Shrimp Trio plate, which is shown as a single meal but looking around, we could see their portions are huge. The waiter seemed a little annoyed about this but after explaining, agreed that it is better to share. The plate really was HUGE, definitely enough for two people. I loved everything - from the creamy shrimp linguine to the garlicy grilled shrimps, it truly was shrimp galore! The signature red lobster garlic 'biscuits' are complimentary and a real treat- they just melt in your mouth and are super delicious! Good service, delicious food but absolutely freezing inside... the AC is on full blast and I was literally shivering so have to knock-off a star as I hate cold food. Super wide selection of fish and seafood (at least in this location in Niagara, don't know how the other locations are), it may seem a bit pricey at a first glance but portions are huge and given the quality, it is worthy. I ordered the shrimp trio and while the shrimp linguine were a bit greasy and disappointing, the garlic shrimp was excellent and super tender. Food is starting to go down hill just a smidge here but those starter biscuits are the reason I'm here. Super buttery. If this rating was that alone, it would be five stars!! The shrimp baked in butter is still yummy as I remember, but everything else feels a bit lower quality. Throughout the years, I think they just lacked the initiative to make trendier side dishes or just change things up a little. The rice is like the instant rice I had in school and veggies looked grilled but felt wet which we all know is not very appetizing. The seafood it's is still good though! Service is very up and down. I recall times where we had a nice server. Even though the wait seems to always be long. But sometimes we got a server who would just go MIA after they gave us our water... Been going to this Red Lobster for 3 decades now, and this was THE WORST experience I have ever had. I asked our waiter about the bankruptcy of Red Lobster in the States, and he immediately gave me attitude as if he was taking the question personally. Then when my mother tried to order an appetizer, he cut her off and said, "I am taking drink orders now", and he never followed up with her appetizer request. One of the pieces of cutlery had dried up food baked onto it....gross! Then the food came; 2 of us ordered the duo lobster tails dinner with baked potato: the lobster was OK. The baked potatoes came out two totally different sizes (one was tiny), and they served the potatoes with some sort of fake butter. When we asked the waiter if it was real butter, he said, "yes, that's what we have in the back" and he left. The colour of the "butter" was not right; I tasted it...it was NOT real butter!!! For $54, I EXPECT real butter, not margarine or some plant-based crap, whatever it was. I didn't use it at all after tasting it. On one plate the green beans were put on the main plate, the other was put on a separate plate; remember, these were identical orders, or at least they were supposed to be. When we told the waiter that it was not real butter, he just said "oh" and left the table!!!! Their new dishware is too small. Then, when we asked for the bill, the waiter didn't even ask if we wanted one bill or if he should give separate bills. He put it all on one bill, and then we had to ask for separate bills. From start to finish, it was terrible. So, to sum up, prices were high, quality and service went down the toilet, and this was the last time I will ever eat at Red Lobster!!!! read more

Red Lobster is what it is, the biggest sit down seafood chain around. While there's commercials on TV for such things as Lobsterfest or Shrimpfest or whatever fest is going on what other kind of festival can they have really? While I remember years ago they will have promos and such there's always places excluded from these types of promos. Hawaii, Times Square and on a broader scale, oh all of CANADA. It's like how the Denny's in San Francisco mind you it was years ago doesn't participate in the Grand Slam special. They just don't. Why am I going off on this just now? Oh ya, this is a review for the Niagara Falls Red Lobster. I collect the Starbucks You are Here collection and with the exception of those mugs from the Disney Parks, the one I bought on Clifton Hill was a complete rip off. Basically double the cost of any other mug in any other given city. The worker's explanation was "this is Niagara Falls". Really? That's your reason for overcharging? OK... I bring up all this past because I have sort of a hate on for Niagara Falls and their entire gouging they do because it's a tourist place. The thing is my wife and I were visiting family that moved to Niagara so they brought us here for dinner. This place is on Lundy's and for a place that seems as packed as any other restaurant on Valentine's day, this was just a typical Saturday evening. Saturday's are busy where ever you go sure but this place for as busy as they are, the turn over seems really fast. The wait here I was told was 20-30 minutes. I want to point out the "quote" of time I was given because I'll come back to that later. The front is a bit of a mess because there's no real place to stand around without blocking the entrance/exit or access to the lobster tank that the servers have to get to once in a while. Of course if there's room in the bar area you can hang out there and have a drink while waiting for your table or end up just dining in there if you wish as well. There's always that flexibility. Sure there was a wait it seemingly went over the so called quote. When our buzzer went off and we were being escorted to the table the hostess told us she apologized for the wait being longer than expected and that the manager would be over to talk to us. I was like, really? Why? So yes, the manager came over and apologized for the wait being longer than we were originally "quoted' so she said on behalf of the restaurant we'd be able to get a "build 3" appetizer plate on the house. I was really surprised by this. I mean how many places do this these days? Waiting for a table on a Saturday is so common something like this is just simply so unexpected and it's a nice touch although sort of unnecessary. Still, we took it because hey, why not? I haven't been to Red Lobster in ages. It's not one of my favorite places but at the end of the day it's not bad. Those garlic cheese biscuits are still the reason for coming because they are good even though we can make them at home now. I'm trying to think of the last time I was at any Red Lobster and it has to be at least a decade if not more. Still they have what I always get which is the Admiral's platter. I like it because the entire plate is fried. My wife ended up getting the lobster mac and cheese. I have to say her mac and cheese is good but wow is it rich. The cheese and lobster make for eating it in small doses. They use "scoobie doo" (cavatappi) pasta which is probably the best choice for this type of dish. Spiral, textured pasta makes for a good plate and hey, the plate is a healthy serving for the money. The plate is like 27 bucks but so is the lobster mac and cheese a la carte side at Ruth's Chris. Color me impressed by the lobster mac and cheese this go around. It was good so I'm going to give credit where it's due. The admiral's platter is a basic fish fry and can't really be screwed up. Still, decent though. Our server was sort of familiar, friendly and joking at the same time. When the bill came I grabbed it and my wife's cousin wanted to pay but my wife blocked him. The server ripped the bill out of my hand and gave it to my wife's cousin. I was sort of shocked and stunned at the same time. I was like why did you do that (seriously) and she said that I didn't really fight her for it. It was funny I had to say but I'll get them back when they come to Toronto. So, overall the place is packed as packed but the turn over is fast. The service seems really good and courteous. The fact they comped us appetizers for waiting so long was kind but completely unexpected. The food was good too. For a chain they may not be the Cheesecake Factory but this one at least pulls their weight for giving Red Lobster a good name. My son took me to Red Lobster in Niagara Falls, Ontario for my birthday and my 8 year old granddaughter picked up and played the iPad on the table while we were waiting for our meals, when the bill came we had been charged $2.50 for games. I couldn't believe that during a pandemic when we are trying to get back to some normalcy, they have the nerve to charge kids for playing a game that they have put on the table to entice the kids. Came to celebrate my mother in law's birthday at Red Lobster. She loves her seafood and Red Lobster was running their "lobster lovers specials". We arrived at 830pm on Saturday night and were able to get a seat right away. One side of the restaurant was full and the other half was empty. Service was friendly throughout the night. I've been to other red lobsters before in the GTA and my expectations aren't high to be honest. I knew the food was going to be salty and very very buttery lol I suppose that is why some people love red lobster... My father in law didn't really eat much of his dish because he said it was way too salty and by the end of the meal all of us felt that way. The taste at the beginning though is good, it's a nice first bite when you have that piece of buttered up lobster, scallop, shrimp, steak - essentially we got a little of everything, and yes everything was buttery. I came here last month for my birthday with my folks. It was a Tuesday night so it wasn't too busy and we were seated right away. Service was nice. The waitress asked what the occasion was and then surprised me with a yummy cake after the meal. Food wise it was just ok. I really love the garlic biscuits they provide but they are so so filling and addicting. I ordered the new york plus lobster tail for $40. It wasn't the best steak I've eaten nor the finest lobster tail, but together they were pretty solid and definitely filling as all hell. For $40 though, I think I could have gotten a much more delicious meal elsewhere. Nonetheless, it is a good family restaurant and my parents seem to like it so I am sure I'll be back for another meal soon enough. read more

My friend and I stopped into Red Lobster last week for lunch. It was Monday so "Shrimp fest" was the special. We both decided to order it. Neither of us had been to RedLobster in 5 years or more. For Shrimp Fest you get your choice of 2 different Shrimp to start & a side. We both got fried shrimp & shrimp Alfredo. The shrimp Alfredo had small shrimps that my Grandma used to use in her macaroni salad. The Alfredo sauce tasted like something heated from a jar & Alfredo noodles are not used. The breaded Shrimp was passable. My friend went on to order the garlic shrimp which were over cooked & rubbery. And we both ordered a shrimp skewer. It was awful. I barely could chew one shrimp. It tasted like cleaning products. Our server never offered us more biscuits, never asked us how our meal was. Even though clearly I was not ordering anything. Neither one of us complained, we were too tired. I will never go back to this gross frozen seafood chain ever again! read more

I love the service at this red lobster I really wish I remembered the servers name ! I love that this place never changes the food is hot , fresh and beautiful every time! Every time I leave I'm happy and I get my money's worth! I have pictures but they aren't letting me post atm! read more

We came here expecting your typical chain restaurant experience, but it was actually better than we had imagined! We had a party of 11 people so I guess they kind of had to work for the extra effort, but nevertheless we felt very satisfied with the meal and service. Obviously people know Red Lobster for their "lobster" but most people actually find out when they come that shrimps are actually what tastes the best here as their chefs really know how to flavour them to the max. Either way, great place for out of towners, especially our American neighbours if they wanna see what the hype is all about. Canadian brothers and sisters, come for the experience but don't expect too much if you have a party under 8. read more

Food was good, biscuits sucked, the server was great. Overall no complaints. Glad I'm a tourist tho
