New Orleans Salmon
Dina M.

My Thanksgiving dinner was ruined. I ordered a New Orleans Salmon dish, that was unbelievably spicy. Our servant didn't even mention that a New Orleans dish is suppose to be spicy. The manager of the restaurant said "Sorry, but we can't do anything about it". I never had experienced such bad service in what was once used to be one of my previously beloved restaurants.

Red Lobster family packs to go never disappoint! They do definitely give you a huge portion to feed at least a family of 4 and have extra for another meal or snack! Walt's shrimp is my favourite! This deal is definitely worth your money but don't expect anything too spectacular on the food or how your seafood is made, it's what you'd imagine a chain restaurant to taste like, which is still pretty good imo to get your seafood cravings out the door. Nostalgia is an added bonus - always feels like I'm reliving some memories from years back (especially with the biscuits).

On arrival we were quickly seated. It took quite a while before our server attended to us. Ordered the Shrimp 2 ways and my wife had the Sirloin & Fried Shrimp. The Shrimp 2 ways was good. The shrimps were well prepared. The Sirloin and Shrimp - first the steak was ordered medium and it came rare. Long after receiving it, our waiter who has been missing, finally came to check how it was. On being told, he took it back to get a new steak. The new steak was butterflied in order for it to be cooked. Who does that to steak?! The steak was now medium/well but she just had it as it we can't wait around more. The shrimp was just OK. One of the worse service we have had at a restaurant in a long time. Half the time our waiter was across the restaurant chatting. For the whole meal, not one dish was taken up off our table nor was water refilled.

We were looking for a seafood food place for dinner where we can try a good food . So, we decided to visit Red Lobster located in Markham, ON. Our waitress Ms Diana was great host! She was very helpful. It's always a pleasure to visit Red Lobster . Starting from the appetizer to main course and last but not the least the sweet dish! If you're looking for a phenomenal food / dining experience, look no further than Red Lobster . Their menu is a culinary masterpiece, offering an incredible selection of dishes that cater to diverse tastes and preferences. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff ‍‍‍ is friendly and attentive, making every visit a true pleasure. Red Lobster is a lovely place. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city in spite of being in the city . There's an ample parking space around the building. The place has the huge indoor seating arrangements and the seating arrangement is super comfortable and spacious. The staff is really nice, friendly and kept following . The food menu is great and there are many choices to choose from and they also offer quite a lot of small bites options to choose from.Pricing is decent, good value for money and the place is more suitable for a group of people.

Very nostalgic feeling coming back here after so long. I used to frequent Red Lobster as a kid, so coming back after years was a nice memory. Everything is still exactly how you would remember down to the decor and menu. Ordered the shrimp trio - no complaints. Service was friendly and fast. And let's not forget about their biscuits which is probably the best thing :)

An average rated branch of the franchise. Service is good, food quality mostly average. I had the 3 types of shrimps from shrimp your way menu. All were good, nicely done/fried. About the Fish and chips, the fish was too oily. Ambiance was average. Parking is convenient in the plaza's parking lot.

With limited option of locations for this restaurant, the Yonge location is my choice over the the Shepperd location. The restaurant is the usual chain set up. We went early to avoid the crowds, so was empty and clean at the time. I must say, I was greatly surprised at the quality of the food. Usually it is just fine, not much expectation. We went here as it was my friend's go to place for her birthday crab legs. I ordered the Salmon New Orleans. The fish was fresh and cooked just right. The shrimp topping was also cooked well. It was quite good. I had green beans as the accompaniment which was fresh beans and also cooked just right. The other order was the crab legs with baked potato and Caesar side salad. The legs were also good, not over done so still moist. With the salad, I think you could almost even taste some anchovies in the flavour. The only complaint I would have, is that you have to pay an extra $1.49 to get Caesar salad, which was something you would previously get included with your entre. This should at least be able to count as one of the 2 sides, if they were no longer going to give as an included starter. Wood-Grilled Sirloin and shrimp scampi. This was the choose your own 2 selection. We had to pay an extra $3.99 to get the steak. The shrimps were fine. The steak was enjoyable, but one portion of the steak was a little tough. The garlic biscuits - yummy as always. As it was my friend's birthday, she got a complimentary chocolate wave dessert - chocolate cake and ice cream. She shared this with us. The cake was moist and went perfectly with the vanilla ice cream. Very lip smacking. Service was OK. Our waiter lacked energy. I will return to this location. As a chain, I know the quality can be inconsistent, however, it is always satisfactory.

Maritime Lobster Tail 7 oz. Sirloin Baked Potato

Today (Feb.04/2025) I ordered the food "Surf & Turf Maritime Lobster Tail & 7 oz. Sirloin" for takeout at 5pm. The Steak was okay. But the Lobster-Tail was poisoned. It's unbelievable ! I'm unhappy and unsatisfied that !

Stopped by this seafood chain to take advantage of Endless Shrimp Monday (all you can eat shrimp! In addition to AYCE biscuits, as per normal). The biscuit was a little salty. It was pretty rich, and quite moist & soft inside. There were some herbs inside which added complexity. Tilapia & scallops were ok. Neither was particularly notable. It came with 2 sides: coleslaw was a little raw. Mashed potato was pretty good, with some texture. And then there was the shrimp. There was a choice of 3 varieties. Garlic shrimp scampi was alright (the garlic butter didn't taste of much), hand breaded was decent (and came with decent cocktail sauce) and the shrimp skewer was decent (having a little nice sear). The shrimp had pretty good freshness and texture. Endless shrimp only came with 1 side (to make you get your money's worth with the shrimp, I suppose). The fries were alright. Service was pretty good. Our server didn't have the faux enthusiasm that can sometimes grate on one's nerves, but provided good service where it counted (keeping our water topped up and constantly asking me if I wanted more shrimp).

This restaurant had been around for a while but I didn't get a chance to try it out. Got to say I'm a little disappointed. Overall, everything was very salty almost unbearable. But the service was beyond expected! The server was very friendly and checked on us frequently. I will probably come back just because the service was very good. I'll probably request my food to be less salty next time.

The Lobsters were good. Shrimp was not that good though. They need to work on having bigger sizes of lobster. Also, I wonder when will they have a lobster roll on their menu? They have steaks but not a lobster roll!!!

I cut my my steak in to a million pieces but trust me it was good

Their dessert section is quite small. Most of the items were sold out. We got a sparkling lychee soda,, an almond tofu soup, white fungus & jujube soup, and coconut milk and jelly. The white fungus dessert was so good. It had a syrupy consistency and the soup was not very sweet. It had a nice herbal scent. The almond soup isn't my favourite, but was quite refreshing. The lychee drink was very refreshing, I highly recommend if you love lychee. The coconut dessert was super rich and creamy. I really enjoyed eating the jelly bits. Overall, the desserts themselves were so refreshing and light!

Plenty of seating for different sized groups, and the walls are lined with either wine, cuts of meat or tanks filled with various sea creatures. For dinner, we always have to order the lobster and steak combo. The steak has consistently been a flavourful medium rare (to our preference) and there is so much meat from these lobsters! I can't pick which way I like the lobster cooked more - steamed or wok fried.. both are delicious. For additional dishes, you can't go wrong with the short beef ribs and the pea shoots with king oyster mushrooms are a great option if you're trying to add veggies to a meat-heavy meal. The service staff are always on top of it. They are always coming around to make sure we have enough water at the table and food came out so quickly. I can't wait to come back again soon!

When we arrived, he insisted that we did not have a reservation even after we showed our confirmation, and, instead of apologizing for what appeared to be the restaurant's booking system error, he tried to lecture us about how certain reservation websites do not allow large-group bookings. Rather than taking responsibility or working professionally toward a solution, his attitude was rude, dismissive, and completely inappropriate. Fortunately, the lady working with him was kind, professional, and genuinely tried to explain the situation and find a way to accommodate us. She deserves recognition for her efforts. Our group was in town for an eight-day conference with more than 3,000 attendees. Because of this experience, this restaurant has unfortunately been added to the "not recommended" list for this annual event. When restaurants host business travelers, the way guests are treated matters just as much as the quality of the food. Unprofessional treatment of customers and business partners can damage relationships and cost businesses significant opportunities. To anyone considering this restaurant: the food is excellent, but if you're planning an important business dinner or any special occasion, be aware that the wrong interaction at the front desk could ruin your evening. Great food alone cannot make up for poor management and unprofessional customer service.

I've been dealing with some dental pain, and my partner is just getting over a nasty cold, so we wanted something gentle, nourishing, and easy on the body - not a heavy, greasy brunch. Bonjuk's whole vibe of "comfort food with heart" really delivered. We'd only done takeout before, so this was our first time dining in. The space is small but really welcoming - warm lighting, clean and simple decor, and comfortable seating that makes you want to slow down and relax. It's not a huge place, so there aren't tons of indoor seats, but that also gives it a cozy, intimate feel. Service was friendly and low‑pressure, which we appreciated when we were both feeling a bit under the weather. We ordered the Chicken Porridge ($23) and the Beef Bulgogi Bibimbap ($24), both for dine‑in (prices don't include tax and tip). The chicken porridge was savoury, and soothing, with a rich broth that felt healing without being heavy. It was easy to eat with my sore teeth and left me feeling comforted, not stuffed. The beef bulgogi bibimbap was a nice contrast - colourful, fresh, and full of flavour. The bulgogi was sweet, the rice was perfectly cooked, and the mix of veggies and egg made it feel like a balanced, healthy meal. It's definitely a step up from typical brunch fare if you're looking for something lighter but still satisfying. One thing that really stood out was their baby porridge menu. It's such a thoughtful touch - separate, gentle, low‑salt options for little ones. As someone who's seen new parents struggle to find safe, easy meals out, this felt genuinely helpful and kind. It's easy to see why their marketing feels like they actually care about making food that's good for people, not just trendy. If you're looking for the best value, I'd say go for takeaway. We noticed a steady stream of takeout orders, and the overall costs are slightly lower that way, especially when there are discounts offered by different order platform. Overall, Bonjuk Canada is a good spot when you want something comforting, healthy, and easy on the stomach - whether you're recovering from illness, have dental issues, or just want a more mindful brunch.

As a guest at a family celebration, I didn't catch the exact price of our menu, but judging from similar ones online, I'd estimate it around $798. Before committing to a $1,000+ spread, it's worth visiting to explore the more accessible offerings. The roasted suckling pig with jellyfish is a dish of contrasts: warm, rich pork paired with cool, crunchy jellyfish. It may have been my portion, but the pork leaned slightly fatty. Still, it was moist with a delicate, crispy skin. Instead of the usual deep-fried crab claw, Queen's serves a scallop with shrimp paste. It's easier to eat with a knife and fork, and while the sauce softens the crisp exterior, it adds a savoury depth without overwhelming the seafood. The crispy salted egg yolk prawns were impressively large and well cooked. I don't usually gravitate towards salted egg yolk, finding it heavy, but here it added a pleasant richness. Since the coating sits on the shell, it's easy to control how much you get. I also appreciated the inclusion of vegetables throughout the meal. The scallops came with gai lan, while the prawns were paired with broccoli, helping balance out the richness. Swapping out the usual shark fin soup, the bird's nest soup with minced chicken and egg white was a welcomed change. The broth was thick and silky, but the minced chicken added some much-needed texture. This is a long review for the rest go to Gastro World.
