    Seaside Shrimp Trio
    Heily P.

So now I remember why I haven't been to a red lobster in about 20 years. So I was looking forward to the cheesie Huns cause I remember how good they were, but this time they were just alright. I got the shrimp trio and it was fine. Not something I'll crave again for another 20 years. Son got crab legs which he likes but they were lacking in flavor. Maybe a little old bay. Daughter got shrimp as did my husband. Overall it was a fine experience. The waitress was amazing! She alone would make me come back. The food was ok.

I'll admit that this is the only Red Lobster I've been to so I have no basis for comparison, however this place exceeded what I was expecting. Didn't really feel like I was in a generic franchise restaurant. Our waitress was very nice and professional, and my food (Crab Imperial, on the crabfest menu) was really enjoyable, for a good price compared to what you'd normally pay for seafood. The lighting was a little dim for my taste, but otherwise the atmosphere was pleasant. I would definitely go back.

Got lucky and went when it wasn't very busy and got greeted and seated promptly, booths were comfortable. The waitress was very nice the whole time. The free cheddar biscuits were fresh and hot. I ordered the crab legs and it had been awhile since I had eaten them and the waitress reminded me how to open them with the tools. They were cooked perfectly and the portion size was huge. Good customer service. I also got the grilled shrimp on the side and it was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The green beans were over cooked and over seasoned but it's all about the seafood here. The red wine and brownie ice cream was so good! It was expensive but that's red lobster, you gotta splurge a little. Probably $50-$100 for two people to go depending on what you get.

The food was good, but what put our dinner over the top was the great service by our server Rory. He was attentive and a wonderful server.

Have to have 7 or more to get a reservation. Sad business practice. Not happy. Never want 5 more on my date with my wife.

Walking in it was fairly dimly lit and silent as I was to be the only diner. The staff was very friendly and got me seated with a menu at the sushi bar immediately. The menu was fairly baseline with a few signature specialty dishes but all consisting of the same ingredients. I order a Hot tea, the Sashimi lunch special which came with a Miso Soup & side of Rice as well as the Treasure Island appetizer to sample some of their more unique dishes. The Miso Soup was both warm and flavorful. The Treasure Island app was an interesting blend of sweet savory and fat flavors with fresh Mango, Avocado, Tobiko, Ponzu and diced fish's but it was unfortunately all just overtaken by the heavy Mayo and tempura flakes. The Sashimi lunch was presented fairly but the quality of the fish was sub par to say. All of the previous frozen variety and using Izumidai "tilapia" in place of Red Snapper. Overall it certainly was not the greatest Sushi dining experience for me personally and I would pass on the next opportunity to visit. That being said there seems to be very limited Sushi dining opinion this area and it was fairly reasonably priced 2 course lunch. 3.9/10 Very friendly staff, lower quality ingredients.

As they say it's a red flag when u walk into a restaurant and there's too many seats and not enough asses to fill them. And then my fiance his chicken he said tasted sour, I hope he didn't get sick like I did right after I feel like throwing up just writing this. As my mother would probably say "this tastes trouble" but unfortunately my fiance is too introverted to say anything, thank fuck we didn't order any appetizers too, wouldn't want more food to go to waste in this establishment. Oh can I mention the bugs too? There were ants on our table, ants, they probably got worse and the bathrooms soap pump doesn't work so they had to put another whole bottle separately on the sink for people to use. And guess what.. the manager still charged us for the dish that tasted like nothing even tho I only tasted a small bit of it, for that, you can go fuck yourself. As for our server, hun, when a customer is trying to be nice and understanding u don't say "ok" dismissively multiple times, you need to learn how to be a good server and learn how to serve your customers.. and for that, yes I left that no tip on purpose. I tip very well usually but when a service is absolutely horrible like that and the manager just decides to be petty? You won't be getting anything from us at all. Save the time and effort, drive somewhere else.. this place will never be worth it, besides you'll be stuck at the entrance for about 5 mins or so before a server gives a shit about ya anyways.

Perhaps you can reach out to Pat at Thai Thai restaurant on upper court Street in Binghamton and get her peanut sauce recipe? It is superior to any we've had. The grilled shrimp appetizer wasn't grilled but appeared to be done on a flat top. Cooked, not grilled. My Pad Thai was different than any I've had. Rice noodles were thinner and would stuck together making it difficult to eat. More like long thin rice spaghetti that needs a knife to eat. I found I was grabbing up globs of noodles without a knife. Chicken in the dish was ground having a different take on any others I've had. I liked it. Would be nice to have a spice rack when seated so we could add more spice rather than having to choose 1-5 and hope for the best. For the price they should give you extra napkins without asking and ice water when you sit down. I've never had Pad Thai as good as at the Thai Thai restaurant I mentioned earlier in Binghamton. I hope you reach out to Pat and get her recipe for that as well. It's the best! I always get chicken and shrimp Pad Thai there and it's the best we ever had. Delicious! As far as ambiance at the taste of thai, the place has none. Only a ladies room at the entrance, men's room closed. We'll go again in a month and hope they take our advice.
