On a busy graduation evening, I understand now why Red Lobster was a very EMPTY restaurant compared to many others in the area, like the Cheesecake Factory which was entirely full on a 1hr 45 min wait. The chain restaurant has been sinking for years, but what sure doesn't help it stay afloat is the service. Nice and friendly to our faces is all we'll get, especially when a group of over 8+ walk in and they see $$$ eyes for automatic gratuity. 15+ minutes to get drinks. Other tables taken care of in the meantime. The food came out, one order was not the intended order. The server was so persistent that "she pointed to it thats what she pointed to so thats what I rang in" and heavy on that mindset rather than fixing the problem. No repeat backs, our guest just said she wants salmon with baked potato and vegetables. It was a miscommunication, but the way the waitress handled it was crazy coming from someone who has over 12+ years in serving experience. We're not argumentative, and it was a celebration, so one guest barely touched their food as they were just displeased with it. Shrimp with sauce. Is that even the name for it? I had to spoon out at-least a 1 inch layer of oil for it to be even edible. Kitchen managers gave that an ok to be sent to a table? The best thing they have going is the crab legs/boils/lobster tails. The rest is straight trash, followed by 12am low ranked diner style service. I wish we had pics. We all just wanted to go. I've been coming to this red lobster since I was a kid. Back when Kay was the hostess (god bless her). I stopped at this location three times this year and it's been a hard decline. The most recent visit I had yesterday has been by far the worst experience I've ever had at this restaurant. Two out of the three times I ordered the sirloin. Once medium and the other time medium well. Both times the steak came out rare. The first time I let it slide but the second time I had to say something to my server. Luckily the second time I had Anthony as my server, I've had him numerous of times in the past and he's always done a great job of accommodating. But my third visit was absolutely terrible. I went with my girlfriend for dinner Sunday night at around 7:30-8:00. There were probably 5 or 6 tables being served throughout the entire time we were there. After we get our appetizers I order the soy salmon and our waiter said it's not available because it's the weekend. This wasn't a dinner special or one of the specials from Monday-Friday, this was a regular dish. (I've never heard of a seafood restaurant that doesn't serve salmon weekend or not.) Completely confused about it I told our waiter I'll order later. After we finish our appetizers our waiter is nowhere to be seen. Had previously asked him for a water, but I had to remind him 20 minutes later when he was passing by our table. After about 25 minutes after that my girlfriend's order comes out and the waiter didn't even bother to ask what I wanted and just ran off. At this point I just wanted to get out of there. We had dirty plates still on the table from our appetizers and empty glasses. Not a single other server or busser came to pick up the stuff off the table. I've worked in the restaurant business before and that is completely unacceptable to leave anything dirty on the table while food is being served. By the time my girlfriend finished her food it was 9:30pm and it was just us and another table with at least 6 other servers talking and swearing around the dining room. Legit probably the most ghetto thing I witnessed at a restaurant. Payed the check and left at 10:00 right as the restaurant closed. We spent nearly 2.5 hours in a dead restaurant just to not have dinner. Had to stop next door to the Wendy's to actually get something to eat. This place sucks and is a horrendous excuse for a restaurant. Red lobster was far better when it was owned by Darden and had chefs and staff who genuinely cared about service. Please don't bother with this place and buy from a supermarket. Guarantee you it will taste better and not take as long to actually be served. It makes sense that there aren't too many of these restaurants around anymore. This experience is a big reason why. read more

I recently went to visit RedLobster on Friday. I ordered some food To go. I ordered the shrimp your way *4. They forgot one of my pastas. I called and spoke with a manager named David. He was wonderful. He apologized and advised me of my options and also advised the next time he was in. The next day I called, my daughter pick up the order. I've been to this red lobster and the service is declining steadily. I came on a Saturday and I totally understand the rush and crowd control might be slower than usual. We were seated, placed our order and took almost 2 hours for our food to even come out; I kept seeing people come after us and leaving before us. The waitress barely gave us any attention on the level on avoidance. I was polite and said I understand it's an holiday and the restaurant is busier than usual but it should not take 2 hours to bring out chicken tenders for kids. No excuse at all. I realize it was a Monday, but I remember this location used to always be so full. We were seated really quickly. The food was good. It was very standard red lobster quality. Our server was nice, but I could tell he was spread thin with a lot of tables. There wasn't a lot of interaction with him. Overall, everything was decent. My family's dining experiences here have been some of the best I've had. Our waitress, Alana, was so kind to us, and she had such a lovely energetic personality. She answered the questions we had, was very attentive, and gave us our food very fast. The food was delicious, the lobster was the best part in my opinion. The food isn't anything specifically amazing, but considering the price, it's absolutely worth it. The garlic butter shrimp is delightful, and the sauce it comes with is absolutely delicious. The lobster was perfectly cooked, and had just the right amount of butter. The food was warm, and the texture was fantastic. So we came here a few weeks ago for the all you can eat shrimp. We put ourselves on the wait list about a half hour before we got there, and were told it is a 35-40 minute wait. When we got there, they told us we are on the list, but it is still another 45 minute wait! We weren't happy about it... We said that we were already on the list for 40 minutes at this point and they moved us further up the list. Luckily things moved along and we were seated within 15 minutes. It seems that either they were short staffed or over booked or both, because service was SLOWWWWWWWW! It took 15 minutes for them to get to the table so we could order drinks, another 10 minutes before the biscuits came (YUMMY), and then another 10 minutes for 4 waters. I have no idea why water took so long. We also placed our food orders right away. My FiL got an appetizer of the mushrooms and it took about 40 minutes to get, then 2 minutes later we got dinner. Really bad timing. We both immediately placed refills on our unlimited shrimp. It took another 25 minutes to get it. We wanted to get another one, but we couldnt wait another 25 minutes to get them. We had a 10 month old with us who was starting to get a little antsy. The food at red lobster is always pretty good! Never had an issue with the food, from the shrimp to the pasta, to the lobster, it is all good. Its not amazing! It is good. I do not have much else to say about this place. The place is clean, it takes 5-10 minutes for a busboy to come clean the table after the previous party leaves. We did notice that sometimes people came to the table faster than the busboy and the host had to clean it up. We did also notice that most of the tables were empty, it seems like they are super short staff that night. All in all, get yourself on the waitlist ASAP! Take your time getting there especially Friday through Sunday. Be patient! Food and drinks take awhile! As long as you want a nice slow long evening, this is your place lol! read more

I went there last night, because I was in the area and have not had it in a while, I decided to stop in. What a mistake, the first issue was they kept running out of bread. This was constant as I heard the severs telling everyone they are coming. So while waiting, I was sitting in the booth closest to the bar. So there's a female bartender and a man ( the manager). I offered the flight margarita. So the manager begins making my drink, I'm watching him bc there's no bread and food has not arrived. He loads the glasses with ice and some ice falls on the counter, he touches the ice with his bare hands and throws them in my cups after they were on the counter and with his bare hands. I'm sorry that's so disgusting, when the drinks arrived I asked the waiter if he man in the blue button up was a manager he said yes, I said good, tell him I don't want these drinks bc I saw him touch ice with his hands that fell on the counter and he placed it back in my cups after. That's so unsanitary! He didn't even comp the drinks or anything after me witnessing that!!!!!! That was a turn off. $124.15 later, I will never return to this location!!!!!! read more

Second time here recently. First trip, things were great. The crabfest 1b of crab was delicious. I commented this to my parents and they said they would like to go, so we went. This time, things were bad. Service was decent. However he was difficult to track down. I had to get up and ask the bartender for water. My parents got the all you can eat shrimp, and it was good. The biscuits were overly salty this time so no one finished them. The salads were good, but very big (House Salad). I order the ultimate feast; crab, lobster, 2 kinds of shrimp and a side. The crab was great, the shrimp was great. The lobster, I took one bite and before it even reached my mouth I could smell something. It tasted like ammonia. Looked up online, and that is bad. Not only that, it was a TINY lobster, like a third of what it looks like on the menu. So I didn't eat it and didn't make a fuss. Server never came to remove plates, or refills of drinks. The BIG issue; the place was filthy. Now, this was early, granted (4pm), and there were only 2 tables with people. We saw tables that had not been cleared off. I watched one server cleaning the table and she just brushed the crumbs and stuff onto the floor. The front of house was a mess. It looked like no one had vacuumed in days. If they are unable to clean and make the place LOOK good, then what the hell are they doing in the kitchen. I can only imagine how disgusting that is, esp since I was given a rotten lobster. I took my parents here for a for late Mothers and Fathers day as it is what they wanted. I was actually impressed with the size and layout of the restaurant. It's been a long time since I'd been to a Red Lobster, and don't often come to chain restaurants but it went well and my parents thoroughly enjoyed it, particularly since eating out is a luxury for them. Firstly, the Cheddar biscuits are amazing. The classic appetizer that you have to restrain yourself from filling up on and please believe I took some with me. They last long too. Yup days later after wrapping them up I had them and they hadn't gone stale. Yum. I had the "Salmon New Orleans" and again impressed, a fair portion considering it is salmon and seasoned well. The shrimp with it was nice with Cajun butter drizzled all over it, the vegetables were average. My mom had the "Ultimate feast" which includes plenty of lobster, crab and shrimp for you to eat and have leftovers of. again save for the vegetables which were kind of bland all the contents were good and nicely seasoned. The waitress was friendly and the restaurant was clean. I go back to the size of the restaurant because It is very sizable here, almost similar to a buffet, I'd a say a few families of four or more could be accommodated and several booths and tables for smaller parties. This made coming here with no reservation a breeze. Our party of four was seated immediately on a busy Friday night. With this, the parking lot is a nice size as well. I'm glad my family enjoyed the visit here which was my aim, but this Red Lobster delivered and would recommend it as it looks pretty well maintained and it's large size. read more

RL is not a 5 star restaurant by far. If you're looking for 5 star quality seafood and service, they will fall short and you will be highly disappointed! Another day another Red Lobster. Since I was in the mood to max out my endless shrimp visits, I stopped by here when I was in the area to do a little shopping. The interior is like any other Red Lobster. Dated nautical-esque decor that's a bit too dark at times along with booths that feel way too tight. I did like two things here out of the gate. 1) The service here was better than in most Red Lobsters. People here were definitely friendly and they did a nice job of keeping up with my (literally endless) shrimp orders. Huge plus for this place for the great all-around effort and nice people. 2) The shrimps here were better than what I had in some other RLs. Even though I imagine they just get some mass restaurant chain order of shrimps, the ones here were pretty big and juicy versus the shrimp I had in other RLs that were small and feeble. They also didn't overfry their fried shrimp which is an added bonus. Beyond that this place is just like what you'd expect from a RL chain. Yummy cheesy biscuits, flabby salads and lots of seafood to choose from. The one yuck was the bathroom - sticky ass floors are a big no no. Please try to keep it clean! Food is always good, but service is hit or miss at any location I've been to. Sometimes I have a super attentive waiter or one that gets lost often. Yesterday I had a sweet waitress, but the table next to us had a much more attentive waiter who often checked on them replenishing their endless shrimp and cheddar biscuits. We had to wait a bit to even have our order taken as another waiter noticed and came by to ask if anyone has helped us. I think our waitress was just overwhelmed with all the tables she was covering, but she truly was sweet. Endless shrimp for all tonight, but the faves were the new Mediterranean shrimp and the scampi. The fried shrimp were small, oily, and sloppily breaded. Coconut shrimp were smaller versions of the appetizer size, but were a bit over cooked as the breading was almost chestnut brown. The shrimp Alfredo was generous in portion, but a scant portion of tiny shrimp were thrown on top of one of my family's plates. However, being endless, there was no way one could walk out of here hungry. $17.99! Can't go wrong with the price! Overall I enjoyed my meal and will continue to dine here! Pro tip: Ask if there are any off menu options for endless shrimp. Yesterday was coconut shrimp, a different type of fried shrimp, and regular grilled skewers! read more

Very clean and large facility. The waitress was attentive and took good care of us. We ordered a dozen oysters that were huge. The horseradish was very fresh. The cheddar biscuits are to die for. The salads with the meals were fresh and refreshing before our meal. The lobster came out looking delicious. My only wish is that they had cut back on the salt in the dish bc the lobster meat was extremely salty but the meat was very tender. The snow crab legs were delicious and perfectly cooked. My family and I came to eat lunch here on a Monday afternoon, there was a lot of us so I understand that could be overwhelming. Our server was sweet, I wish I remembered her name! The service was ok, could've been better. There was another server who came with our food and you can tell she was overwhelmed to be sent to us. It was disorganized and all over the place. Biscuits came in an orderly fashion but there was a lot of us so we all ate them in two minutes! Of course we asked for more...our salads for those of us who ordered salads over soup didn't come before our entrees they came after. Our server apologized, and gave us extra to go salads, biscuits and ice cream for the kids to make up for the disorganized service. The staff is energetic and always ready to greet you with a smile - Jayden, in particular, who served us tonight was great, very attentive and helpful. The menu is diverse with plenty of seafood and steak options to satisfy; however, if you're one for bold taste and flavor, a couple dishes surely miss the mark. Beware: the crab legs are simply boiled in water and have no taste to them at all when they hit the plate. I was rather disappointed but thankfully, Jayden was willing to hear me out and was able to take the entree back and off our bill. Came for dinner with a friend tonight. Everything was pretty standard/average. Service was good. Had snow crab legs with a garden salad, broccoli and rice pilaf and of course couldn't resist eating two cheddar bay biscuits. I have to remember next time I come that I like the green beans better than the broccoli there when it's typically the opposite. I like the fact that they have two wild caught options which are the snow crab legs and the flounder (which I haven't tried in many years). At least they are making an effort toward sustainable food.
