The waitress was friendly, though this is definitely a spot for the locals as she didn't speak any English. They played a bunch of pop music, not sure abut you but I tend not to find Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift to be dining music, but what do I know? It's difficult to recommend Re Carlo as you probably came to Italy for more authentic Italian food, and this is more like an American sports bar. Not bad, just not what we wanted.

My trancio flat bread with prosciutto arugula and buffalo mozzarella(that's a guess) was good. Finally, wife was completely satisfied with her porchetta ciabatta sandwich. Playing the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Lincoln Park in the background does not hurt. Considering how close this is to piazza San Marco, I thought the prices were more than fair.
