You could say i'm an escape room freak and it wouldn't be going too far. So I've been to some really, really nice rooms, as well as some crappier ones. And the Grand Forks Escape Room is one of those lower quality ones. It seems they really tried to keep the budget as small as possible to create these rooms. We did the Abduction room where the group is separated at the beginning and one group is handcuffed. Sounds awesome, right? We thought so too. But this room was so disorganized. Most of the clues were on sheets of paper, and almost all of the locks were the same idea and it was so hard to keep track of what we were doing. Good escape rooms have a logical sequence of solving things, and if they really know what they're doing it's easy to keep things separated and know where you're going, and this escape room 100% failed at that. But beyond that, the worst part was that there was a safe that was supposed to be locked and never got locked when one of the workers reset the room. Now, I understand we are all human and it's really easy to miss something like that sometimes. I've had that happen in other rooms where they missed a step in resetting the room and they come and fix it. But this game master, whose name I wish I would have gotten, didn't do anything. The safe was open and gave us the key we weren't supposed to get until the VERY END. It messed our entire game up and left us so confused. And when we told her what happened, all she said was "Well, someone messed up.." She took zero responsibility or ownership for that mistake. I understand mistakes happen but she didn't even apologize?? And like, we paid $30** per person for that big mistake there, we should have at least gotten a coupon or a free try at a different room. It was a bit infuriating given the circumstance. And our gamemaster told us we get 3 hints, and each one takes a minute off our time. We only ended up asking for one hint, but she kept talking to us and telling us exactly what to do before we even had time to figure it out. As a gamemaster you should help guide the participants at times but don't tell them how to do half of the puzzles. It was so weird and I felt so unaccomplished between that and us having the last key for the entire game. This is such a cheap escape room and I would advise against wasting your money here- even with nothing to do in Grand Forks I won't come back here again.

This park is amazing! It is a huge park made with all kinds of surprises for kids to find. There's…read morea castle, car, train, boat, dragon and tons more. It's great for toddlers through big kids. There are swings, a sand box with diggers, and tons of places to climb and scamper around. There are public restrooms and a seating area to sit and eat snacks or lunches. Be prepared to chase your kids a lot. It is maze like. This is my boys favorite park to visit.

The greens are very smooth with only a few unfixed pitch marks. The fairways are generous and even your missed fairways offer a chance at hitting most of the greens. There is a little creek and a pond that come j to play on a few holes. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.
