Outside is where we had SO much fun! You get to feed some of the animals! Food is $1 for a small cup. We bought a bunch! First you feed the turtles. We had so much fun, we forgot to film it! Next we fed the quail. I guess they are used to it, cause they came right to us. The coyote and bobcat were sleeping hard in the heat. The river otters were hilarious! They were having so much fun! Last was the bird named Simon. They said he talked a LOT, but was very shy around people. He did whistle a few times for us. This was well worth a visit, and we would go back just to feed the animals!

Additionally the museum honors the town's namesake Comanche chief Quanah Parker. Lastly, a ton of life on the plains history, dress and military garmets from the past and all-kinds of western and Texas memorabilia. In all - the museum really is quite large with over 20 different rooms of hsitorical stuff. Get off the highway for a bit and check out this outstanding musuem!

This is acceptable to me, the staff is volunteer. I recommend to maybe call ahead if travelling a linger distance.

Every time I've gone to this particular gallery, I always see something different from local artists in the the community and artists across the United States of America, mostly of which are in Texas and Oklahoma. The size of the gallery is limited of course to its small size, but the content is amazing and varies from photographs to stain glass to sculptures and even prints. This is quite the fun activity if you have an interest in the arts.

A fantastic military museum on the campus of Fort Sill. The museum is divided into three sections:…read more1) Revolutionary War to WWI; 2) WWII to Vietnam; and 3) modern wars of Desert Storm and Afghanistan. The lobby display includes artifacts of the fallen Berlin Wall and 9/11. So much information along with artifacts and military vehicles and planes. The outside display include many other military vehicles, aircraft, and cannons. Hubby and I spend hours reading and visiting this fantastic museum. There is no entrance fee, but donations are accepted. Well done!
