    Salsa Bar

We came from Maryland to visit Longwood Gardens and had this place on our radar for lunch afterwards. Very attractive looking interior, you order at the counter and there is seating indoors and outside. Seems like things like the guacamole, beans, and rice are ready to go but they cook your selections upon order. (For what we ordered, we probably waited about 10 minutes which was fine with us). They also have a "salsa bar" with five different selections ranging from mild to hot, as well as a bowl of corn salsa and a bowl of sliced fresh jalapenos. I ordered the pork flautas (comes with rice and beans) and chips and queso and my dining companion ordered a torta, black beans and some guacamole and chips. SO MUCH FOOD. Everything we had was delicious and a bunch of it came back home with us. She said the guacamole was the best she ever had. The guy taking the orders at the counter was very patient with us and I heard him talking to another customer (trying to decide what to get) and he was asking "how hungry are you" because you can definitely order too much (like we did). We dined there, and there seemed to be a steady flow of carryout business. Would I go here again? YES YES and YES

Great, fast, super fresh food. My daughter had a steak burrito (HUGE!) and she loved it. I tried it and the steak was well seasoned and the guacamole in it had large chunks of avocado and we delicious. My wife and I tried the tacos: we had al pastor, shrimp, grilled mahi mahi, and the Baja fried fish. The al pastor was a standout: lots of pineapple and flavor, super juicy. The fish and shrimp were also fresh and delicious. The restaurant was clean, the employees were all cheerful and helpful and kind, and we can't wait to go back on a Tuesday for their "buy two tacos get one free" special.

I chose the authentic taco with chicken, al pastor, and shrimp verde. The chicken was cubed and I wasn't expecting much, but it was great! The shrimp verde was probably my favorite. They used a different style of tortilla and it was amazing! They had a spicy mayo on it as well, which complemented the verde sauce. The al pastor was my second favorite. The pork was tender, juicy, and seasoned well. They also had grilled pineapple. Is it really an al pastor taco without pineapple? They have several options if salsa available from mild to hot. They also had a corn salsa and jalapeños available. The corn salsa was good enough to eat on its own! The service was friendly and relatively quick. Everything was extremely fresh and delicious.

Great tacos, I got the fish, steak authentic style and Al pastor. All of them tasted fresh and hot off the grill. They have a sauce station where you can pick up salsa verse, red hot sauces in different spice levels. Was fast and would go back again. Good spot to pick up food to go

We are on vacation with two kids that are picky eaters, finding food for all of us is hard. So glad we found this place because everything about it was awesome. Great location, easy to park. The restaurant is on the small side so get a table when you walk in. The menu is creatively basic, and the staff is happy to tell you that your can change whatever you want. They want you to love your food! The food is fresh and delicious. I had a vegetarian said. Sauteed vegetables are usually really bland, but here the all had a slight char and were deliciously seasoned. Staff was friendly and so helpful, restaurant and bathrooms were spotless. I wish they were in Albany so we could go every week.

This place is great for some delicious Mexican food. The prices are decent and the flavors are awesome. The restaurant is clean, and somewhat small, but not too crowded. You place your order at the register and they bring you your food. I love chipotle, and people tend to compare the two, but I would have to say I prefer Red Sombrero if I actually want good and relatively fast Mexican food. My shrimp tacos were delicious! The staff was kind and I had an overall great experience. There is plenty of free parking because it is located in a small shopping area. The restaurant is located next to a Starbucks.

After ordering a few tacos, I regret not ordering the broth that everyone else seemed to have ordered. Regardless, the tacos were divine. I have to say the peppers were extremely spicy and something that I half-regret eating. But despite the spicy sweats, the flavors were spot on that it was such a memorable meal. Would definitely be back.

I am a big huaraches fan, and I tried this in four different restaurants in a couple of months. Each time I enter every restaurant I look around and leave if it is dirty. This restaurant was clean. I ordered the carnitas (roasted pork) huaraches. The pork was juicy, and the toppings fresh. This nice sized portion kept me full all day. I did not see a Diet Coke in the drink refrigerator. I got a bottled water (better for me). The gentleman behind the counter and the register lady were very friendly. Thank goodness I took Spanish in high school, because I use it at Mexican restaurants. I I love neighborhood Mexican joints because their food is cheaper, and is highly better quality than the most of the other restaurants. I will add this place on my lunch list!
