The first few times I went was shooting blind because descriptions flashed by too quickly on video screen, but everything I ordered was very tasty and prepared with care. Fries are good and piping hot. Side dipping sauces available for purchase; ketchup @ tables. This last time, the descriptions of the burgers were underneath the photos & names. This place was a pleasant surprise! First of all, there's a great vibe once you step inside. Clean and brightly lit, the menu is large with great pictures, and the music is relaxing. The owners are friendly and care about customer service. One suggestion would be to make the menu clearer with the burger names. Names are duplicated with two prices for the 1/4 and 1/3 lb. burgers. You have to read the description carefully for that detail. On to the food... I ordered a double cheeseburger with 2 of the 1/3 lb. patties. Whoa, these were so tasty! The beef is advertised as Angus Chuck ground beef. They're served on a brioche bun that keeps everything together without falling apart. The quality and freshness of the ingredients was superb! My kids got bacon burgers and the wife had a regular cheeseburger. Everyone was astounded by how good the burgers were! Fries were hot and crunchy. The shake was creamy and was well blended for a thick consistency. I've had burgers all over the place and I have to say these came in at a close second to Pigfish Cafe in Burien for best burgers I've had in western WA. Service was pretty good, but the food was above average, 8.5 out of 10. My husband had a burger, kind smashed style, he thoroughly enjoyed it. I had garlicky tater tots, which we sufficiently garlicky and recommended by the lady taking our order. The wings were mildly seasoned but juicy nonetheless and meaty. When this place popped up on my radar the first thing that went through my head was "Don't smoke crack" These prices were so high it as clear ownership was smoking something. So rather than continuing to hate, I thought it best to check them out and form my own opinion. First things first, yes, pricing is aggressive, but the sizes and portions actually match prices. I'll cut to the chase, I think Red Robin is a better deal and possibly a better choice, but I know some people don't like supporting national chains. I think this place knows pricing is high, so they had a special. A ¼ pound bacon cheese burger for $9.99. It didn't come with fries, but fries were less than $4, so all in all, it wasn't robbery. I understand the normal burgers are 1/2 pound. That is too large for me, but enough to satisfy a hearty appetite. I got a couple knocks for this place. With pricing being premium, I think you should have included at least one sauce to go with the fries. Yes, it was only $.50, but can a customer catch a break? My other knock was the fries themselves. I hate seasoned fries and would not have ordered any had I known what they served. Listen, burgers are shoestring, steak or crinkle, Save the seasoned fries the fair or a fast-food upgrade. You would never get these fries at a steakhouse, so if you are serving top grade beef, ditch those nasty ass fries. Based on the fries alone, I wouldn't return. A burger without fries is like chines food without rice. Yes, the veggies were fresh and the burger was decent, but the bad fries and aggressive pricing was a joy killer. This place has potential, but 100% not for me. I could have got more for less at Red Robin and enjoyed my entire meal. I see these places popping up around the sound, but I would not be surprised to see them fail. The average family can't afford these prices. read more

Went to Red Wagon on a Saturday night for dinner with friends. We got there at 6pm and there were plenty of tables open. The restaurant in and of itself isn't much to look at. But lack of ambience doesn't really matter when the burgers are the star of the show! And man, let me tell you, these were the best burgers that any of us have ever had. The beef patties are juicy and cooked to perfection. The buns are yummy, fillings are fresh, and each burger is crafted with care. They are also like 6 inches thick! I was initially planning to eat half my burger and save the other half but that isn't advised. Once you start eating your burger, you're pretty committed to finish, otherwise the whole thing is falling apart. Plus, you don't necessarily want to put it down because the juice that drips onto your plate will make the bun soggy. I ordered the BBQ Burger. It was so good, though I wouldn't have minded more BBQ sauce. In addition to our burgers, my husband and I also shared an order of fries (good, though batter-fried fries aren't my fave), and a chocolate milkshake which was so flavorful. If you're curious about Red Wagon Burger, I would definitely recommend it. The quality of the food is high and so are the prices. Not somewhere we'd go regularly but worth it for the occasional burger. If you like burgers and plan to go anywhere to get them, this is see the place I would tell you to go. read more

First Timer and opted for the Hawaiian Burger, unlike any I have had before. Got mine with no cheese( might have held it together better) but not a cheese lover. Nice buttered bun, special sauce(like 1000isl) bacon, ham, 2 slices of pineapple, onions, pickles, & lettuce all decorating a well seasoned 1/3 Lb patty. The girl at the counter was very rude the food is ok at best and the prices are way to high. My wife and brother had the fish and chips. One piece of fish was so tough it wouldn't fall apart. My wife is a grocery checker at QFC up in the highlands and it heard numerous customers talk about this great burger joint. It's located up by the old SARS grocery store and really is very clean organized and very pleasant to look at. I had just there quarter pound cheeseburger with my wife she had the hamburger and both were very good. Very fresh produce on it. The fries were good and will we come back that's the question maybe maybe we do have a favorite place or two that has hamburgers and we're conflicted to think they might be a little bit better but I would give this place a solid 5 and tell everyone at least give it a shot. read more

The costs is more then what you would normally pay for a burger but once we got it we understand why the prices was higher but definitely not a fan of extra charge for condiments.
