It's clean, easy, and works well for group gatherings. Only downside is the restrooms were available but not very clean, and parking can get a bit tight. Overall, a reliable spot for things like birthday parties without feeling chaotic.

I've rented the picnic tables under the shade with the bbq pit near the playground when we have our Family get togethers. It's best to rent the picnic tables during the summer time so that you have that spot reserved for you and your guests. If someone tries to take your spot you just show them your permit and reservation for that spot and they have to leave. It was funny watching kids making the big slide into a water slide they were all lined up passing the bucket of waters to pour down the slide. We always have playdates here the kids love it. I like it better than Rancho because there is more shade here

If timed right, residents can take family photos. The park is often calm on weekdays. But it can get quite crowded when baseball or soccer leagues hold tournaments and/or the community room is rented out for a party on weekends. Parking is often impossible at these times.

There were a lot of small gray color fish in the water and they would chase us as we walked around. A charming place to get away from the bustle and hustle of the mall across the street where we just had a nice udon lunch.

There is a large well kept lawn surrounded by green hills. What's interesting about this park are the scattered rose gardens everywhere I call the Garden of Souls with each raised box of roses named after loved ones of the past. The playground was designed like a Western scene with jail and police station. This is a very charming park. The only downside is the noisy school sharing a border. I recommend coming here during school hours when it's quiet. There is also a large BBQ picnic area. A real gem in Danville I will be coming back to.

A whole family of cows greeted us at the gate. There were cute baby cows too. After the cows finally left the gate entrance, we opened it and walked into the trail. It was pretty steep going uphill but once you got up the hill, the views were beautiful and reminded me of Dorset England. I just saw a documentary about Dorset and this looks just like it. Rolling green hills and valleys. With the blue skies, it was so peaceful. It's not a crowded place so we really enjoyed the peace of it. Lots of families with children hike here. It's such a safe place to get fresh air and exercise. We will definitely come back for another hike and lunch afterwards.

Kids are ALWAYS here so it is easy to find a playmate, if needed, for the day. There are restrooms directly behind the big play area with multiple stalls. It is well maintained and usually stocked. There are lots of benches, both with and without backs, surrounding the various play areas. There are numerous hammocks surrounding the park (closest to the swing area).. Be careful not to get too relaxed and misplace your lil one(s). It gets pretty hot out here and with the absence of shaded benches, bring a blanket to sit beneath a tree or an awning and chairs if you're fancy. Parking is directly outside the park. With ample parking it is difficult to not find a spot. During summer months it gets a little harder do arrive early. A grass area separates play from parking. There are plenty of bike racks as well. If you do not feel like driving the Dublin/Pleasanton BART station is a 12 minute walk away. If we ever explored this option I would have to bring a wagon. After play I doubt our little one would want to trek the journey. There are very few food options nearby so definitely come with snacks and drinks. There are working water fountains throughout the park (not refill stations). Come, enjoy! You can make a day of play here without spending a dime.

All the mallets were there and the way they designed the different musical instruments was really unique and produced some really nice sounds. Would definitely recommend this playground if you're in the area. All it's missing is one of those sliding glider type things or a splash pad and that would make it really great.
