This is on top of the immediate leak we had in the irrigation system he fixed for us right after the water heater install. For that, we had to have another company come out and correct his mistake - they said once again he failed to use the correct part. He never refunded the $600 we were out on that repair. How is this guy in business? Thanks to my home warranty for putting me in touch with the absolute worst plumber available.

After I read the reviews here, I was extremely concerned and considered calling HWA to request another company. However, we were in a bind with no hot water and company arriving the next day. We were told by HWA, that they would be out first thing the next morning. When I hadn't heard from anyone by 9:30am the next day, I called and spoke to Jason. He said he had other jobs and could not be there until between 4 and 6pm. Again, I was worried and a little annoyed. However, Jason showed up when he said he would, diagnosed the situation and spoke with HWA for a while. He said he could not complete the replacement until two days later. Not what we wanted to hear, but we were thankful to have it covered (minus the cost of bringing everything up to code - totally understandable, which we discussed and I approved to HWA prior to any work being completed). Jason showed up on the day and the time when he said he would. They had everything up to code and the new heater plumbed in about 1.5 hrs. He walked us through the new heater, code updates, how to operate/maintain the heater and how to prevent sediment buildup going forward (we're relatively new to TX hard water). Overall, Jason and Kelly showed up when they said they would, performed good work in a timely manner. I'm not sure how my experience was so different than some of the others on here, but I'd like to say ours was as positive as it could have been (when dealing with plumbing issues)

It required tunneling under the home, putting in all new pipes, and packing everything tightly back in. They were able to get the project done 2x as fast as two other companies quote and they were able to provide a much more affordable rate. We couldn't be more impressed by this company's expertise, quality of work, and transparency. Would highly recommend them for any and all plumbing projects!

I am glad I got Miguel's contact to communicate with him directly to continue with the plumbing job. He did to extension for the water pipe for a new sink and for a washer. The old suite does not have these. He saved my life during this difficult time. He was very responsive when I asked questions on what was needed to be done. He helped me get through all the inspections from the city. He asked his employees to show up right away and got anything that I asked for done quickly like installing the new sink and toilet, fixing the damage on the drainage, and fixing the toilet leaking. I can't thank Miguel enough for all the emergency help he did at my suite. Miguel's team did a great job at my suite. They even fixed things for me on the weekend as it is really hard in general to ask companies to work on the weekend. Dealing with city of Austin in construction is hard from getting the building permit to passing all the inspections. Miguel has experience with it and understands well how the city works. I trust that Miguel can do a good job in residential plumbing as well. I would hire him for any plumbing related job later. Highly recommended!

O & M Plumbing Services - Broken drain line in slab

    O & M Plumbing Services

Exceptional O & Plumbing Service Experience…read more I highly recommend O & M Plumbing for any plumbing needs. In particular, Chris F. has consistently demonstrated exceptional skill and professionalism on every project of mine. His attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship set him apart as a truly outstanding plumber. Project Background I recently purchased an older home, full of charm and distinctive bathrooms. However, I encountered a leak in the master shower that required the p-trap under the shower drain to be replaced before new tile work could be completed. My concern was that reconnecting the new p-trap to the antique cast iron drains in the foundation might cause the cast iron to crumble. Chris F.'s Approach and Solutions Chris came to the rescue, using a camera down the drain to evaluate the situation. He explained the difference between what was probable and what was possible, providing two bids: one for the probable good case and one for the possible problem case. Having used Chris before with excellent results, I trusted his methods, which are always the least intrusive and focused on effective access. In the worst-case scenario, Chris would need to cut and excavate a 2' x 2' hole in the foundation around the shower drain, then tunnel no more than five feet under the foundation from that access point to secure a solid connection to the iron drainpipe. In the best-case scenario, he would only need to excavate a 2' x 2' hole around the shower drain to replace and secure the new p-trap. He also showed me pictures of his past work for reassurance. Successful Outcome Fortunately, the best-case and probable case prevailed. While fixing the p-trap, Chris also discovered an unrelated drain leak under the foundation, which he repaired at no extra charge. I felt I received excellent value for the service provided. Professionalism and Work Quality Chris left the work site clean, as he has always done in the past. He and his co-worker collaborated well, using a small and quiet jackhammer designed specifically for plumbing foundation work. The new drain looks beautiful, and I can confidently proceed with the new tile work, knowing that the unseen part of the shower is sound and affordable. Appreciation Thanks to O & M Plumbing for introducing me to Chris F. and Mike. Both are good and considerate professionals, and I am grateful to have them working in my home.

They clearly explained the issue and gave us two options: a quote to replace just the P-trap and a separate quote to replace all the pipes since the cast iron was corroding. What stood out was that there was absolutely no pressure to upsell. They took the time to answer questions and let us decide what made sense for our situation (we chose to replace all the pipes). They were responsive, courteous, and showed up on time. The work was done efficiently and professionally. A big shout-out to Andrew, Landen, and Ben--they were fantastic to work with and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. We'll definitely be using O&M Plumbing again and would highly recommend them.

I chose Daniel's Plumbing & HVAC in September 2025 for a full HVAC replacement. I went with them…read morebecause their customer service seemed great during the sales process, and they promoted a strong warranty and service plan that was included in the price. Unfortunately, the experience didn't really live up to those expectations. The installation itself didn't go as planned. During the initial appointment, measurements apparently weren't taken correctly. When the installers arrived, they realized the system wouldn't fit as expected and had to cut out part of the ceiling to make everything work. Because of this, the installation took much longer than expected and they had to come back another day to finish the job. About a month later when I tried to turn the heat on for the first time, the system didn't work. I had to call for a service appointment, and the technician discovered that the system had never actually been turned on by the installers. The tech initially tried to charge me around $100 for the visit, which I pushed back on since the issue was clearly related to the installation. After some discussion they eventually agreed not to charge me. Now that it's tax season, I've run into another issue. One of the selling points during the sales process was that the system would qualify for energy tax credits and rebates. When I started filing my taxes, I learned that the IRS requires the cost of each component to be itemized. However, my invoice from Daniel's lists everything as one lump sum. For the past couple of months I've been calling Daniel's trying to get an itemized invoice or clarification so I can properly claim the rebate. Each time I've been told that Adrian would call me back, but I never received a return call. Today I finally spoke with someone who told me they will not provide an itemized invoice and didn't really have any solution. The whole experience has been frustrating. The sales process and promises were great, but the follow-through has been disappointing. Between the installation issues, the system not being turned on, and now the lack of support with documentation for the rebates they promoted, the customer service just hasn't matched what was advertised. I'm not sure I could recommend Daniel's based on my experience. If customer service and clear communication matter to you, that's something to keep in mind.

After…read morementioning we had a more competitive offer from another company, the same Daniel's estimator provided a secondary revised quote with a lower price, which ultimately led us to choosing Daniel's for the repair. The job itself had to be rescheduled on short notice and we were accommodating to the request. However the work was completed well and the technician was friendly and professional. However, the issue came with billing. The invoice we received did not reflect the most recent discounted quote we had agreed to. We contacted the company multiple times and were told each time that a manager would call us back, but we never received a response. After several follow-ups and no resolution, the situation escalated into a frustrating phone conversation. In the end, we felt it wasn't worth continuing to pursue and paid the higher amount, despite it not matching the agreed-upon quote. While the quality of the work was good, the lack of follow-through and failure to honor the quoted price left a very disappointing impression. We were not in pressed with the professionalism of the front office and warn patrons to be weary of estimates.
